I just keep telling myself that RGIII would not have looked nearly as good in a Shurmur lead offense...

Seattle's defense looks awful.
Skins receivers sure do like spiking balls and getting in opponents faces after making a catch.
Griffin took his helmet off on the field with the clock running. Should've been a 15 yard penalty. Didn't get called, of course.

I was of the opinion that the cost was too high for him. Now...
Would you rather have, say, RG3 and Morris and no first or second rounders in this draft, or...
Richardson, Weeden, Gordon, Schwartz and a first next year?
That breakdown is off the top of my head, so it may be inaccurate, but it's an interesting question.

But would Kelly have signed the dotted line already if RG3 was here? I think so.

Hindsight is a tough animal and you wouldnt have any recievers plus Shurmur coaching him so I think having to make a choice.........problably would stick with what we have. A different coach in the mix and Im probably hands down the other direction but Gordon makes that iffy. Darn.....still cant decide.

I agree the worst part is we would have wasted a year of RG3's life under Shurmur.

Hard to argue with that. Although who knows if guys lose their jobs if RG3 is in town. Holmgren and Heckert certainly look better, and maybe Shurmur stays if we have a better record. I don't think RG3 looks as good with us as he does with Shanahan in that offense, but you have to think we do better than 5-11.
While the national media is quick to point out that the Eagles have the "better situation", neither team is set at quarterback. Actually both are pretty far from it. I don't want to hear about Michael Vick, because 1.) He may not even be there next year with that giant cap hit and 2.) he's horrible, isnt the athlete he once was, and is still a giant risk
I'm also reading that while some heat may come on the Oregon program, I don't think it's enough to warrant anything that would really force him to leave. They may get a slap on the wrist. Seems like he doesn't have to leave.
I have a feeling he's going back to college.
Browns have to regroup, and I think start this thing all over again. Go through everything, and bring people back in for interviews if you have to. Im glad they aren't panicking right now and just bringing in the next guy on the list. There is no rush to get this thing done today, tomorrow or the next day.

Not even close. Take Griffin, and worry about the coach later. We would still have Gordon has he cost us our 2nd this year. But let's be honest, the skins aren't a playoff team without him. We might be if he played for us, even with Pat.
They should take him out of this game however. He looks horrible with his injury.

Wow. Baldwin gives himself up by sliding and Hall dives at him on the ground and hits him shoulder to helmet. No flag.
Skins players really like the extracurriculars it seems.

I'm a big Hawks fan today. If they win I think our best option is sitting on the sidelines calling plays for the Redskins and we would then be able to interview him.

It's kinda funny that I didn't read comments until the end of the game ....... and the early comments were so down on the Seahawks, (Yes, they have earned their name back) but man, they really came on after getting down early, and controlled this game.
I was definitely wrong about them going on the road in an outdoor stadium. They were impressive.

Yeah I was not feeling to good when seattle was down what was looking like big tijme, I thought the defense would be the difference in this game and it ended up being correct.

They just summed up my feelings on the TV commentary ...... The Falcons have to be going: "Oh, we get the Seahawks ....... Oh %$#@(^%$# ......." Should be a pair of really outstanding games in the NFC. Falcons/Seahawks and 49'ers/Green Bay. Wow. Great pair of games. In the AFC, we get Ravens/Broncos and Patriots/Texans. Both of these could potentially be runaways.

looked like maybe a MCL pop... dunno... will be interesting to see what he pulled... I personally thought he should have been out of there after the run where he clearly limped to the sidelines... but that's just me. Thought it was dumb to call a run play for him.
