More trouble for Henry
BY KIMBALL PERRY | KPERRY@ENQUIRER.COM

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry is in trouble with the law – again.

Henry, 23, of Florence, was given a ticket last Wednesday and had his 2005 Cadillac Escalade impounded after he was cited for driving on a suspended license, failure to use turn signals and a seat belt violation.

Henry was stopped by Cincinnati police at 4:32 p.m. at 1100 Vine St.

Henry appeared in Hamilton County Municipal Court Monday, and was released after he posted a $100 bond.

This is the latest incident for the troubled Henry.

After the 2005 football season, Henry had several off-field incidents. He also was suspended in 2006 for two games for violating personal conduct rules following his arrests.

The Enquirer will update this story throughout the day.

Looks like his life is improving. At least this arrest wasn't for drugs or anything, he just can't drive. This just shows another thing he sucks at.

Did this moron not know that his license was suspended? How does he remember his playbook? Or do the Bengals just tell him "run as fast as you can down the field in a straight line, and turn around.. catch the ball & run"? How stupid can he be?

They were just talking about this on 700 WLW saying that he will probably get jail time. I hope he does.

Especially when you're rolling down Vine St. in a escelade on 22 inch rims. You tend to stand out, just a bit.

Most people would get something for failure to follow a judges ruling. A "common" citizen might get 30-60 days.

Bengal or not....this kid is clearly on a ego trip and needs to have his wings clipped. Since he was given a chance to straighten up on his own and failed, lets see what 30-60 days in the workhouse does for his attitude, then see how he responds to directions.

Chris.....you can fight all you want, but as the song said..."I fought the law and the, law won, I fought the law and the, law won."

Peen, I remember when Kevin Mack served time for a drug conviction ('89 season). He was released early, but it clearly changed his life for the better.
Ther are some sports figures in that think that the are above the law. I agree with you, show them they are not.

Umm the numbers he puts up on the field have far exceeded your dear Saviour Braylon....Chris Henry might be the most dangerous #3 WR in the NFL..

All that being said,
He's proving to be more trouble than he's worth and he's been dealt with on couple of occassions already with the harshest yet to come...I've never defended him breaking the law and never will..

This will not affect the fact that the Bengals will still pummel the Clowns into submission..with or without Henry...

Depth is good.....Of course you all probably aren't very familiar with that term.

Just think of it this way, when the Cincy play Cleveland, the best 3 WR's on the field are on one team....

Sadly, the Bungle fans have grown accustomed to this type of behavior. It will get to the point where one of their players will go on a 30 state killing spree, and they'll just look the other way.

I personally thought Kelley Washington was better than Henry. IMO Henry's nothing more than an average at best reciever who happened to fall into a good situation. Put Dennis freaking Northcutt on your team and he's the most dangerous #3 in the NFL.

2 Decades? Just a reminder the Browns in FOUR decades have a grand total of ZERO Super Bowl appearenaces while the Bengals have been there not once but twice. The Bengals have Swept the Browns the last two seasons & have won 5 of the last 6 games. How is that for numbers? Your team has a pretty sad record since reconstitution, any records before that belongs to the team now residing in Baltimore, in short the Cleveland Clowns stink on ice!

At least we aren't so desperate we have to use two games that we lost to talk smack.

Seriously, do you ever hear any Indians fans talking smack about losing two World Series?

Lame...

Now go on hiatus again.

MadWoman,I'm not sure what fairytale you live in..but it's time to come back from never-land(otherwise known as Cincitucky..where it will always be never-land for a winning a championship in football).Whoopie..you "LOST" two bowl games..facts are this..The Browns have a total of "8" yes..count them "8" Championships..and they belong to the city of Cleveland..Just because the witty name "SuperBowl"was not tagged the name of the game does not make them any less of a Championship! You and the rest of the bottom feeders in Bungle-ville might as well get used to the fact that you are & always will be the laughing stock of the NFL..if not for losing..for the constant troubles with the law.As I said before..get ready for another 2 decades in the Bungle!!!!

Uh, You were swept by the *ENTIRE* AFC North Division last year! I don't think you have to look any further than Cleveland Brown Stadium to find the Laughing Stock of the NFL.

P.S. - Any so called "Championships" won before Super Bowl I are long forgotten by everybody except you Clown fans. Mentioning those wins from the ancient times of leather helmets usually bring nothing but collective yawns from most people. The long & short of it is that you are legends in your minds only. It only took the Bengals 14 years to make it to the Super Bowl, it's been 41 Years & counting for the Brown & it don't look to promising for the near future for you. I think you can look forward to another season of pounding from the NFL. I said it once & will say it again:

"Oh you sad & pathetic Cleveland Clowns"!

Talk to us when the Bungles WIN a SuperBowl.
Maybe long ago...but the Browns have been world champions. Bungles have not.
