Nope. Are you sure you're not confusing an "annoying buzz" with the announcers commentary?

From the stadium?

I know they do the Bruins goal horn at Gillette all game.

Not sure if you meant that, or something coming out of the broadcast.

ok went to the tape. If you forward to the first punt right after the punt it starts.
and I believe as the game goes on its gets more frequent and loader.

You can hear it when Jones tosses the ball to the official.

I didn't hear anything either.

Maybe it was on your local channel?

It was definitely a low guitar chord sound.
Dubbed over top the broadcast. over and over and over.
Probably for dramatic affect. Toward the end of the game
it competed with the announcers.

They did the same thing on that station for the wild card game.
The other games didnt have it

1) What chord was it? The more specific you can be, the better we can help you.

2) Was there any distortion to the chord? In other words, was it a classic rock type chord, maybe more of a grunge? Would you say a band like "Boston" would play that chord more than a band like, say, "Pantera"? Or would it be more "Radiohead" as compared to "Bee Gees"?

3) What type of guitar was it? Fender? Les Paul? Acoustic?

4) Was the chord louder or softer than the sound of a hummingbird (with said hummingbird's wing-beats magnified at 250x)?

Thanks. This should help get us on the right track.

Low destortion, g flat I think, I believe it was a red fender.
could have been a yamaha key board you never know now a days
More of a greatful dead kind of thing.

Could it be the pedal steel in this song?

Didn't pick it up myself. Not a hearing aid malfunction, I hope. Father-in-law's whistles at times, agree it is very annoying. Have no idea if it does chords, but I will inquire.
