There are a lot of unwritten rules to gambling and one that I have always lived by is that if it's too good to be true, it usually is. With that in mind, how in the hell does anyone pick the Cavs +11.5? This smells like a 25 point blowout.

Yeah, without their #1 and #2 scorers .... I just don't see where the points will come from.

Maybe they just park Miles on the perimeter and pass him the ball for a 3 point shot every time down the court. I dunno.

I like Livingston, and think that he's about as good a backup PG as anyone could hope for ..... and I like our backup brigade overall ..... but now they're starting, and we have weakened the backups at the same time.

I might take the Cavaliers +25 ....... but then again ... maybe not. This game does smell like a beat down in the making.

Honestly if we ever want to beat Miami, we need people that can slow down Bosh and Wade. Forget about stopping Lebron because you can't. Bosh and Wade are human and have weaknesses.

Cavs up by 22 on the Heat. I was watching Pardon the Interruption and they laughed at the concept of the Cavs winning tonight and that Robert Morris had a better chance vs. the Heat. Really got on my nerves, LET'S GO CAVS!!!!

Heat are gonna come out like gang busters in the third.

We need to be ready for there surge. I wanted us to go up 25 to prepare for there massive comeback.

^ That's always the thing when dealing with the Heat, as this was pretty much the case last year. Just when you think you have them, they hit you like they're a bus and they humiliate you. That, and the refs help out here and there.

Cavs still up 18 late in the third ... you just have the feeling this is going to end badly though.

Exactly. Cavs up by 27? Yay! Cavs up by 24? Yay!

Cavs up by 19? Well... Cavs up by 18... Heat are gonna win this. They'll sneak in through the back door. Gotta love that non-existent parity in the NBA.

Brought it back down to 8 ... before Gibson finally hit a 3 pointer.

Yeah, they're toast.

Not until the 4th quarter anyway. How many turnovers have we had in the last 5 minutes? ... and have they taken any shot that wasn't a 3 pointer? It's like they all got Lebron James hero-disease or something.

To be honest ... if they were playing, the Heat would of tried playing harder earlier.

I'm starting to wonder if our high turnover rate has something to do with our system.

High amount of points for PGs but also high amount of turnovers

Wow ... 1 point game with 44 seconds. Only problem is, if the Heat do somehow miss their next possession here ... who takes a game winner for us?

On one hand, credit Byron Scott for having these guys ready to play, and playing well for a big part of the game.

On the other hand, how do you not stop the bleeding in the 3rd/'4th? I heard he didn't call one timeout while that lead dipped to below 10?

Man.

I've always thought of scott as a marginal at best coach, he's proven many times this year he is barely that..I can't remember such a bad 3rd quarter team, and we lose big leads consistently because he has no clue how to adapt. They blew a 27 point lead in 1 quarter, thats unacceptable. The rotations this game were unacceptable. I mean Luke walton was almost single-handedly responsible for the comeback with his defense on battier and his turnovers on offense.. meanwhile no timeouts in the 3rd and miles and speights didn't play a single minute in the 3rd when the offense when to crap. This was a story waiting for the happy ending.. The cavs, the team scorned by lebron...ends their historic streak.. i mean ESPN would have to atleast mention the cavs. Now they will be mentioned as normal...with nothing positive. Very disappointing loss.

Actually, they'll probably ignore our missing top players and turn the "LeBron to the Cavs" into "The Cavs are so horrible why would LeBron WANT to go back there?"

LeBron to the Lakers everybody!

They did the same thing in 2010 in LBJ's first season with the Heat. The fact that the Cavs were so bad that year somehow validated their years and years of pushing Lebron out of Cleveland.

Never mind the fact that the team was gutted immediately after the decision.

yes, the announcers in the game, the NBA Gametime, and SC that night only made mention of us missing Kyrie. No mention that Waiters and Andy were also missing.

Not that it matters. When LeBron gets that hot, you just have to hope that your lead is big enough. 27pts wasn't nearly enough.

I have heard a bunch of folk in the media saying they think Aaron Craft could play in the NBA? Do you guys see it? I don't really see it.

The only guy you can really compare him to is Rondo, they're both undersized, I don't think Craft is the distributor Rondo is, but both are excellent defenders who make things happen outside from scoring.

Rondo is was also surrounded by 3 hall of famers, with a good supporting cast, and an excellent coach. Nobody would think anything of him if he played for Detroit. He's not making scrubs better.

Someone asked me a few weeks ago what I thought of him and I immediately shot it down as no way no how.

Craft will have to adjust to how he plays defense in the NBA. NCAA allows alot of hand-play that will get automatic whistles in the NBA. I think he is capable of making that adjustment (summer league would likely be really rough on him) and he could be a superb defensive backup PG.

I was just having this conversation yesterday over lunch.

I think he's a back of the bench rotational guy who might be useful as an on ball defender. Second round type pick who might stick.

The rest of the table disagreed.

I heard some streak ended. Yeah! ESPN hasn't really talked about it so it was kind of hard to hear about.

I really hate Bulls fans.

Talk about being hypocritical.

I also love how they try and side with me, because we're "both against Lebron"

I will root for LBJ a thousand times over before I ever root for the Bulls.

a now baby Bron bron has the audacity to complain that he isn't getting a fair shake from the refs? the same refs that made sure the Heat won the title last season? The same refs that make sure the Heat are never out of a game?

How can he actually have the nerve to say that? What a big baby

Didn't see the clip....but what are we expecting a player to do after they lose? Congratulate the opposing team, wave to the crowd, take interviews? From my memory, the winners usually stick around to do those things. The loser go directly to the tunnel.

I'm not defeding him...just defending what a normal player would do when the game is over and they didn't win.

The losers will usually at least shake the other teams hand, Bron stormed off pouting because he didn't like the fact that The Bulls played him physical and didn't let him bull(pun intended) through them like many do.

At least he didn't sit on the bench, fake a injury, quit, and pout like he did with the Cavs. Hes growing up, I guess
