unless you are the one that said:

Kansas City Chiefs NT Star Lotulelei, Utah
Joeckel makes sense except that why not just sign Albert? He's not a great LT, but he's a good one and the team is better overall with Albert+DL. Star is the consensus best DL in this draft and his heart apparently checked out with specialists. Makes sense here.

Ahem.

KC can still pull a Seattle... Sign sought-after FA QB and then draft a rookie QB anyways and draft Geno Smith.

Seattle didn't spend 2x2nd's and the top pick in the draft on a QB last year though. They only spent 1x3rd rounder.

1 Philadelphia - Geno Smith via trade up
Kelly wants to announce his presence with authority

2 Jacksonville - Jarvis Jones
They need help everywhere. I think they take Smith if he falls to them.
But he is gone so they go for an impact player on D

3 Oakland - Sharrif Floyd
They need a lot of help everywhere. Especially Dline

4 KC - Luke Joeckel
They put him at RT this year then let Alberts go after the season
Opening up LT for Joeckel next season

5 Detroit - Ziggy Ansah
They fell in love with Ansah at the Senior Bowl
They need DE help
Oline and Cb are huge needs as well
But Detroit has avoided addressing those needs for years

6 Cleveland - Dee Milliner
We could still go OLb
But Milliner is the best match of need and talent

7 Arizona - Eric Fisher
Oline and Qb are both huge needs.
Better value here at LT
They can get Qb talent in round 2 similar to what they can get here

8 Buffalo - Ryan Nassib
Desperation leads to irrational decisions

9 NY Jets - Cordarrelle Patterson
In an attempt to salvage his career
They get a playmaker for Sanchez

10 Tennessee - Chance Womack
A big OG to produce a power run game

1) Kansas City, Luke Joeckel OT Texas A&M - The Cheifs have had a really good off season so far getting the QB they wanted in Alex Smith. A coule of new weapons in Anthony Fasano TE and Donnie Avery. They have solidified the middle of their line with Geoffrey Shwartz. Now they will protect their new QB with a Left Tackle.

2) Jacksonville, Dion Jordan DE/OLB Oregon - The Jags have quite a few holes to fill. Offensively they have a top RB and possible #1 receiver. The defense has issues but a good pass rush can cover some of those problems.

3) Oakland, Sharrif Floyd DT Florida - The Raiders are another team with many holes but the most glaring need is on the interior defensive line. Floyd can cause havoc up the middle.

4) Philadelphia, Dee Milliner CB Alabama - With both DRC and Nnamdi Asomugha gone Milliner is a quite obvious selection.

5) Detriot, Eric Fisher OT Central Michigan - Matthew Stafford has taken way to may hits since being drafted. Jeff Backus just retired and the Lions need to start to take care of their franchise QB or he wont last long in the NFL.

6) Cleveland, Trade the pick to Buffalo for the #8 pick in the 1st and a 3rd round selection. Buffalo takes QB Geno Smith. After releasing Geno Smith Buffalo will be desperate to take the top QB available and will want to get ahead of Arizona who also is targeting a QB.

7) Arizona, Matt Barkley QB USC - Barkley will have a stellar pro day and will be the QB that shoots up on draft day. The Cardinals will will pull the trigger because they are also starved for a QB.

8) Cleveland, Trade the pick to San Diego for the #11 pick and the Chargers 3rd round selection. San Diego moves ahead of the Jets to select Lane Johnson OT Oklahoma. The Chargers have to protect Rivers for their potent offense to again be explosive.

9) New York Jets, Ezekiel Ansah DE/OLB BYU - Rex Ryan knows that if his Jets have another losing season it will be his last. So, he will do what he knows and does best and that is attack opposing teams QB's and take the best pass rusher on the board.

10) Tennessee, Xavier Rhodes CB Florida State - After already fill the need of interior offensive line with Andy Levitre the Titans will solidify the CB position with this selection.

11) Cleveland, Will again trade down to the Rams for their #22 pick and a 2nd rounder. The Rams need Offensive line help and need to make a splash with what the 49ers and Seahawks have done. They will select Chance Warmack OG Alabama.

22) Cleveland, Kenny Vaccaro FS Texas - Fills a huge void in the Browns secondary. He also brings speed to the defense which is a huge plus for a 3-4 defense.

Browns 2nd round pick via the Rams - Zach Ertz TE Stanford - A big target in the middle of the field that is also an exceptional blocker. Has played in a pro style offense so his transition to the NFL will be made easier.

Browns 3rd round selection - Tyler Bray QB Tennessee - Strong arm QB to develop for the future. Will make the owner Jimmy Haslm very happy to bring in a Volunteer.

Browns 3rd round selection via Bills - Sam Montgomery OLB LSU - Young pass rusher to develop behind Sheard and Kruger.

Browns 3rd round selection via Chargers - Barrett Jones OG Alabama - Versitile Offensive lineman that has started at Guard, Tckle, and Center for the Crimson Tide.

Browns 4th round selection - Leon McFadden CB SanDiego State

Browns 5th round selection - Brandon McGee CM Miami.

6th and 7th rounds are players who amy and may not make the team.

The trade downs allows the Browns to stay consistant with what they say is how they want to build their team through the draft.

Didn't read all the post...so not picking on you.

1. no big deal but I understood...Buffalo traded Fitz not Geno..

2. All those trade downs??? We got fleeced - if all we get are a 3rd round pick I'll be greatly disappointed.

I like the fact we targeted Somebody...I don't care if its your opinion or mine...fact is according to you we targeted the best Safety out there n a need that we have. So props to you for that

Actually, Buffalo cut Fitz ...... they didn't trade him. (Sorry, just had to do it. LOL)

I wouldn't mind picking up 3rd round picks to move down a couple of spots, but I just don't see us being able to do so.

I do see Buffalo as a team that may try to move up to grab Smith. They need a QB desperately, and it wouldn't surprise me to see them trade up as high as 3rd to make sure they get their man.

However, if one of the OT are still left when we pick, that could make a team want to trade up for him.

It appears that there are going to be pass rushers throughout the 1st round .... so a trade down might make sense if we can get enough in return. However, from what I have read, Lombardi is a huge Jarvis Jones fan, and thinks that he will be a monster pass rusher. He also looks like a prototypical Stelers OLB, and we are running a Steelers based defense, so he would make sense for us. If he is there when we pick, I just don't see us trading down. Same thing for Milliner. If Jones is gone when we pick, but Milliner is still there, then I think we grab him. If both are gone, then I hope we don't have a Bill Belichick/Craig Powell, trade down/melt down scenario.

I doubt that happens though.

I'd be surprised if we trade down at all, much less 3 times.

If Dee Milliner is there at 6 or if Geno Smith is there and the Browns feel he is a franchise they will not trade down I agree. I mocked that Milliner will not be there and that the team is not in love with Smith. If that is the case they will tarde down. The strength in this draft is from the mid 1st thru the 3rd round not at the top of the draft.

I understand that 3 trade downs are a long shot but I am going out on a limb with my predictions.

I do not think picking up a 3rd round selection for moving down 2 spots from 6 to 8 or 3 spots from 8 to 11 are getting fleeced. Last year we moved up 1 spot and gave up a 4th, 5th, and 6th. With the talent pool being mid 1st thru the 3rd round round that a 3rd would be valuable. Also St Louis moving up 11 spots for a 2nd would about right also. That would give Cleveland #22 in the 1st, #46 in the 2nd, #68. #71, and #76 in the 3rd round right where the quality of the draft is considered strongest.

Again, I know it is a pipe dream but it is a mock prediction and I went out on a limb.

1. Kansas City: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M - After cutting Winston, they have one piece of the puzzle missing. This is a no-brainer to me.

2. Jacksonville: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia - I may be in the minority here, but I think that Jacksonville can't pass on Smith. They need a QB. They have a solid LT, a good RB, a good TE, and some good WRs. They can build the defense later. You can't always find a franchise QB and I think this is a franchise QB.

3. Oakland: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon - They are desperate for some defensive line help after losing all that they have lost in free agency. The front 7 is a higher priority than the secondary when you have neither.

4. Philadelphia: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan - Vick or whomever plays QB will need some protection. This allows them to move Herremans back to guard and it gives them insurance in case Jason Peters doesn't come back to his old form. Either way, they are desperate for O-line help. They signed several guys to fill holes on defense already.

5. Detroit: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma - With Backus retiring and Cherilus signing with the Colts they are forced to do what they should have done a long time ago: invest in protecting Stafford's blindside. Johnson and Reiff will make two good bookend tackles.

6. Cleveland: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama - We get lucky and land the number one guy that we should be targeting. Fills the biggest need on our roster.

7. Arizona: Matt Barkley, QB, USC - With all the main LTs off the board, Arizona grabs a QB prospect and resigns itself to Levi Brown at LT. They will get a RT, likely in round 2.

8. Buffalo: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama - They will get Nassib in round 2. They get him some protection in round 1. They need to replace Levitre.

9. New York Jets: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia - They gotta get some pressure on the QB to make that defense work.

10. Tennessee: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU - They need some d-line depth.

Rest of the Browns draft:

3rd round: Bacarri Rambo, FS, Georgia
4th round: Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU
5th round: Dustin Hopkins, PK, FSU
6th round: Zach Boren, FB, Ohio State
6th round: BPA

I think we can get by with the guards that we have, although I wouldn't mind an upgrade. I also think we can get by with the WRs and TEs that we have with the right QB throwing to them. Open up the competition and hope the QB develops. This defense would be sick...

My "dark horse" choice for our 1st round pick. I would take him anywhere from #10 down in a trade-down scenario, but I don't believe he will still be on the board at #22. Predator: feel free to chime in here...

With Oakland releasing Tommy Kelly, I think it's officially a lock they draft a DT. Jacksonville can really influence the draft for us. If they take Geno, Philly would take Dion Jordan, which would mean we get Milliner. I am looking at potentially:

1. Joeckel
2. Smith
3. Floyd / Lotulelei
4. Jordan
5. Fisher

I think Joeckel is a lock, a DT at pick 3 is a lock and an OT at pick 5 is a lock

Oakland doesn't have defensive ends or corners, either. There's even rumors (that I don't believe) that they may not have a quarterback soon.

While them needing a defensive tackle is clear, idon't think it's a lock for the pick by any means.

But then, I don't think any of those three you mentioned are locks. Detroit drafted an OT in the first last year that was Backus' backup on the left side. KC, at least for the time being, has a LT.

There are rumoura that Brandon Albert wants traded. Also for a pass heavy team like Detroit, they NEED bookend OTs.

Yeah, that's why I'm so reluctant to make a mock. The Chiefs (idiotically) franchise-tagged him, even though he refuses to move from LT.

I have a hard time projecting them to take Joeckel because Fisher would make a better RT for this upcoming season, which is relevant since Albert's going to start at LT this year unless they trade him.

So in other words, I can't make any predictions that I'm comfortable with until they rectify the stupid situation they put themselves in by franchise-tagging Albert.

I'm not a draft expert...so I know anything is possible (considering Kicker SJ was drafted years ago by the Raiders in the first round) but considering the past decade....why do most in this post think Chance Warmack is a top 10 pick? (btw, Yes I would LOVE to have him playing for the Browns and I do think he's a top player)

Is it b/c most think this year is an interchangeable draft and it's not top heavy like most years?

Why I am asking this is b/c of history....I know I know...anything can happen, but in the past 10 years, the earliest a guard was selected was the 17th pick in 2010.

Has the players union agreement changed this? Or like I said, is it because this year the draft isn't top heavy as in years past. (i.e. having Luck, RGlll and other high profile QB's coming out)

Please don't take this as I'm saying...most of your mocks are wrong, more or less, it's an interesting question as if the new agreement has changed this perception of drafting a Guard early. If this deserves it's own thread and considered off topic, then I apologize for adding it to the predict the top 10, but it's interesting considering most mocks.

Ten Year Recap of the Guards taken in the first rounds

Cowboys NOTE: Stephen Peterman was drafted in the third round by the Dallas Cowboys. He did not find success in Dallas, but has started every game he has played for the Detroit Lions since 2007. He has missed 12 games in that period, none in the last three seasons.

2003:
No Guards in the First round
2nd round:
Eric Steinbach 33rd pick CIN, Started 99% of the games he played while only missing 3 games in his 8 year career 4 with CIN and 4 with CLE Retired

Best Guard in Football, Logan Mankins, was drafted with the last pick of the 2005 first round by the New England Patriots. There are about 15 to 20 teams that are kicking themselves because they missed on the Talent that is Logan Mankins. Teams weigh the value of a pick and wonder if they are making the right pick for their selection. Do you draft for need, or pick the best player available? If the player that you want is there when you pick, you pick him. But in the last 10 years, there hasn’t been an Offensive Guard taken in the top 15 picks. The closest is All-Pro Mike Iupati of the 49ers who was drafted at 17th. This would be the ideal situation. You make the pick having done your homework and understand what this player will bring to your team and hopefully he becomes one of the best players at his position.

Guards, no matter how good they are, have a tendency of falling. You have to go back to 2001 with Leonard Davis going second and 1998 when Kyle Turley went sixth to the New Orleans Saints. There has been 8 guards taken in the first round and 15 Guards taken in the second round in the last 10 years. In four of the last 10 years, the NFL Draft did not have a guard taken at all in the first round. In that span, last year was the only time two guards went in the first round: David DeCastro and Kevin Zeitler. Many remember that DeCastro was the best Offensive Guard in the draft and was expected to go as high as 11 to the Chiefs and many had him coming to the Dallas Cowboys at 14. But that all changed and DeCastro ended up dropping to 24th for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This year, Jonathan Cooper have wowed scouts and draft experts see him moving up the same way as DeCastro, but flashes more athleticism. Both he and Chance Warmack are the two best guards in this Draft class. And again, the Cowboys are in need of an upgrade at Offensive line. While the Dallas Cowboys could very well be looking at Defensive line help, if tradition continues, they will be in the right spot to pick an Offensive Guard. One that will hopefully follow the trend and become key clogs for an offensive line in desperate need of cohesiveness and a new energy.

To make it short: taking a G in the top 15 is like taking Prince Fielder or Joey Votto at 1 in your Fantasy Baseball draft....good player, but bad value

why is it idiotic if there is a trade market for Albert? if you can get something for him, then tag him and trade him.

or, keep him, draft a DT and get a RT later

It was idiotic because the obvious #1 pick this year is Joeckel. No health issue, no bust potential, etc.

But Joeckel is a LT. And Albert is a LT. And Albert refuses to play RT. They could have just let Albert go this offseason and spent the money elsewhere, but instead decided to tie money up at the position that the #1 overall pick should be playing at. And even if Albert was willing to play RT or LG, it's stupid to pay a guy top-5 money at the second-most expensive position in the NFL for one year to play a position that isn't LT, especially when they could spend the money on other holes and just draft the #1 pick and play him at his natural position.

If they can't trade Albert (which they likely won't because the LT-needy teams all don't have enough cap space for him), then they can a) draft someone at a different position who's not as good of a prospect as Joeckel OR b) draft Eric Fisher who's better at playing RT (which they need now since they stupidly released Winston) than Joeckel and could play there until Albert's deal expires. But Fisher isn't as good of a prospect at LT (which is more important) as Joeckel.

Both options are worse than just letting Albert go and spending money elsewhere, and then drafting the consensus #1 pick in Joeckel and starting him at his natural position.

I disagree with your assertion at the end. Why is it better to let one of your key assets walk and create a new hole on your team so you can use your top draft asset filling that hole with a player who has never played a down in the NFL?

KC still has a terrible defensive line. The only passable player they have is Devito. Letting Albert walk and drafting Joeckel doesn't improve their team. It would essentially be wasting a first round pick.

Also Joeckel isn't the perfect prospect you portray him to be. He probably won't even be a top 5 LT in the NFL (IMO, of course.) So why is swapping out your capable starting LT for an unproven one the only smart thing to do again? What about drafting a guy who would instantly be the best player on your weakest unit? Lotulelei can start at any position on their DL and has dominant potential. I'd rather have my LT in place and improve my weakest unit.

1. Kansas City Chiefs — Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan

They take Fisher mostly because he can play RT for one year, but they can also comfort themselves knowing he has a higher ceiling compared to Joeckel as well — albeit with a much lower floor.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars — Ezekiel Ansah, 4-3 DE, BYU

He's not my favorite pass rusher in the draft, but he has the most upside. The Jags aren't even close to winning, so picking an extremely raw player here as opposed to Floyd is what I think will happen. Also, 4-3 DEs are more of an impact position than 4-3 DTs.

3. Oakland Raiders — Sharrif Floyd, 4-3 DT, Florida

The Raiders lost Kelly and Bryant and only picked up two guys with 10 combined starts last year in Sims and Walker. Floyd doesn't have as much upside as Star, but Oakland runs the 4-3 which takes away most of Star's perceived advantage. And Floyd's simply the safer pick.

4. Philadelphia Eagles — Eric Fisher OR Luke Joeckel, OT

Joeckel's BPA at this point and plays the second-most important position in football.

5. Detroit Lions — Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama

They have a 2012 first-rounder in Reiff that they're going to start at LT IMO. Not many teams (especially ones with as many holes at the Lions) start one-year pro, former first-rounders at RT until their contract runs out.

Now that I got that out of the way, Detroit needs a CB and a DE. They need one pretty urgently too, as unlike the teams picking above them, they have a shot at the POs next year IMO. DE is more important than CB, but none of the DEs are good fits for them IMO. The Lions need pass rush now being they have no one, and Jordan, while possessing incredible coverage skills and having pass rush potential, isn't going to be a great pass rusher from day one. Jones can't play 4-3 DE and isn't worthy of being picked #5 anyways. Mingo, while able to provide instant pass rush, isn't a good enough prospect to be picked at #5, either. Neither is any other pass rusher.

Therefore, I have the Lions still fulfilling a need and getting a future stud CB in Milliner.

6. Cleveland Browns — Dion Jordan, 3-4 OLB, Oregon

One thing — I have a hunch the Browns will end up signing Grimes, making Milliner a non-need anyways. I'm actually not a big Grimes fan; it's just a hunch I have being the Browns still have so much cap room.

The Browns already have some OLBs, but Jordan has a different skillset from all of them — mainly in coverage. He's a great complement to Kruger's horrible coverage skills, and can probably play ILB on obvious passing downs due to this skill, giving the notoriously creative Horton the option of having another pass rusher on the field.

Jordan won't dominate from a pass-rushing perspective in his rookie year, but the Browns don't really need that since they already have Sheard and Kruger. And Jordan does display some pass-rushing potential for the future.

7. Arizona Cardinals — Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia

The Cardinals have no starting-caliber QBs and Smith is too good to pass up at #7. They can live with Levi Brown at LT, who they just signed to an extension last year anyways.

BTW: I really, really don't think they're going to take Johnson in this situation and move Brown to RT, because their 4th-rounder last year, Bobby Massie, improved dramatically at RT during the latter half of the season.

8. (TRADE) Miami Dolphins — Lane Johnson, LT, Oklahoma

I think the Dolphins see that they can get a franchise LT to replace Jake Long and trade with Buffalo, who already lost their shot at drafting the best QB in the draft — making them more willing to trade.

BTW: This trade totally screws my Chargers haha, but I honestly think this is what would happen in this situation.

9. New York Jets — Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU

The Jets haven't had a legitimate pass rusher for years. They added Barnes, but he's a rotational player and could just spell Pace on obvious passing downs.

BTW: This is the guy who I wanted for the Chargers behind Johnson haha.

10. Tennessee Titans — Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama

I would have them take Jones, but he's best-suited as a 3-4 OLB.

They still need a starter besides Levitre, and I'm sure they're excited about CJ possibly returning to form, and Warmack would immensely with that goal.

11. San Diego Chargers — Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina

I really debated about going with Star here.

I think that being that the three top-tier LTs are gone, the Chargers are forced to take one of the developmental LTs, Armstead or Faulk, in the second round. Cooper will help with either of those guys a lot in their rookie year.

...

They player who really gets screwed in this mock is Star. But there's not that many teams who need at DT in the top ten picks, and it doesn't help Star that they're mostly 4-3 teams and that Floyd is probably just as good as Star is (with less risk) in a 4-3.

Because Albert is expensive and the money can be used in different places.

Again, Albert is expensive. If they were really that concerned about their defensive line (which in all fairness, is below average IMO), they could have signed Jones or Bryant or some other FA DT. Also consider that they do have their future NT in Dontari Poe, who wasn't expected to do well in his rookie season, but has a ton of potential, giving credence to the idea that he can improve dramatically this year, opening things up for the rest of the line.

And KC has other holes that could be filled via FA. It's not just the defensive line, which I personally think is below-average, but not "terrible."

Joeckel has almost zero bust potential and is a better bet to be a reliable LT in the future than Albert with his previous back injuries.

I can see them going with Star (I think he's great and his heart doesn't look like an issue), but I still contend that a much less risky option would have been going with a sure bet at LT (Joeckel) and letting Albert go in order to sign other FAs.

Dunno why I wrote "OR."

It's supposed to just be Luke Joeckel since I have Fisher taken #1 overall. Weird typo haha.

his tape screams top10 pick, his combine numbers scream stay away. I think he'll end up being a late 1st round pick and end up being really, really good for a team in a couple of years.

My Top 10:

1) Kansas City Chiefs - OT Luke Joeckel, Texas A&M
The Chiefs need to protect Alex Smith now that they've invested in him to be the starter. Would Andy Reid like to draft defense? I'm sure he would, but he needs to build an offense first.

2) Jacksonville Jaguars - DE Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah, BYU
The Jaguars need defensive pass rushers BAD. One way to stay in games is to knock the opposing QB down, and I believe that Ansah would be a nice fit for what the Jags would like to accomplish.

3) Oakland Raiders - DE Bjoern Werner, Florida State
Above all else, the Raiders need that intimidating bully on defense. They need a guy who says "I'm an Oakland Raider." Werner seems like a guy who can be in the QB's face almost any play.

4) Philadelphia Eagles - DE/OLB Dion Jordan, Oregon
This pick almost makes too much sense. Chip Kelly knows what Jordan is all about, so why wouldn't he consider picking him? Jordan provides the speed that a team needs in a pass rusher.

5) Detroit Lions - RT Eric Fisher, Central Michigan
I know people have Fisher going to the Eagles but I don't see it. The Lions would benefit from having a guy like Fisher. They need to make sure that Matthew Stafford doesn't get killed back there.

6) Cleveland Browns - CB DeMarcus Milliner, Alabama
Let's be frank here. The Browns absolutely need help in their defensive secondary and it's a glaring hole. This is the only guy we better target at #6. Otherwise, I want to trade down to #31 with and grab #34 from the 49ers.

7) Arizona Cardinals - OG Chance Womack, Alabama
Sorry but I'm not buying the Lane Johnson hype. I don't know why he's rated so high anyway. Chance Womack is the sure thing as he's proven his skill time and time again.

8) Buffalo Bills - QB Geno Smith, West Virginia
I know the Bills have Kevin Kolb and Tavaris Jackson "battling" for the starting QB spot, but they both suck and that's obvious. Coach Doug Marrone will probably want to develop a QB, so why not take Geno right here?

9) NY Jets - DT Shariff Floyd, Florida
Rex Ryan loves defense and... I don't know why else from his perspective. The Jets are a mess even after this pick.

10) Tennessee Titans - DT Star Lotulelei, Utah
What do the Titans have to lose? Getting Star anywhere from the #10 pick and lower would be just fine by me. He does have health issues but if he can have those issues addressed and cleared, then this will turn out to be a solid pick.

If we trade from #6 to #31 we had better get alot more than #34 ...

If we did that, I'd think you would see the picks in return something similar to the trade Heckert made in 2011.

I never said I wanted just Picks #31 and #34. I would hope we'd get a couple players for depth or more picks.

Milliner is the safest choice, and the next best option is one of the OLBs. But I am wary of Ansah. I get that he has incredible talent. But someone explain to me - no matter how raw he is - how can he go from not starting for BYU in 2012 to being a starter for us in 2013? And if he can't start right away for us, then he probably isn't the way to go, even if he becomes a star.
Two lockdown corners make the whole defense better - pass rush, run defense, everything. It would leave one hole on defense - the athletic OLB opposite Kruger that I can't see Sheard being. Maybe we can find one in Round Three?
And no late pick on a QB - just sign Lalich as an UDFA. He could be special, and he'll be there.

I think you understeimate the "transition period" for every NFL rook. Milliner is a carbon copy of Claiborne and he was up and down all 2012 for the Cowboys and that's the norm with every rook player thrown in day 1. Don't expect Milliner to be an above AVG or better CB in his rookie season, that's too much. I'd be happy with a Sheldon Brown-like season, in fact that'd be a GREAT rookie season

I've been reading around and there seems to be an increasing buzz about Tavon Austin, WR, W Va. Russ Lande on his current National Football Post mock has Austin to the Browns at #6, and thats with Milliner still on the board. Unlikely, I would say, since we already used our 2nd on Gordon. There's also some talk about Miami being desperate to move up for one of the LT's, and one of the teams they're talking to is the Browns. For #6, we'd get #12, a 2nd rd pick (Miami has #42 & #54), and a 3rd rd pick (#77). I might do that if its the #42 in the 2nd, and Milliner's gone.
