Signings for every team or just the Browns? Usually the Browns signings get their own threads, no?

Yeah, I'd say all signings. Browns signings generally get their own threads and they take awhile to happen

So, is this going to be the thread about the thread, or the actual thread itself?

This should be the thread preparing us for the thread about the thread.
When someone finally posts "Begin Thread!", then we'll have the actual thread about the thread, until then, we're just preparing to Thread.

Gotta ease into these things, can't rush it. Somebody might sprain something.

Actually,if past practices prevails, there will be 486 threads about different signings.
For the sake of keeping the board clean, this would be a good place to keep all non-Browns signings, unfortunately it won't be that way.

You should start a thread in the Feedback Forum asking exactly what the purpose of this thread is.

well, if he also paints the endzone, he better be able to spell.

Bottlegate will look amatuerish if he leaves out the "W" and it says "Brons"

The people on NFL Network are acting as though Kruger to Cleveland is a done deal. Same with Mike Wallace to the Dolphins.

There’s another guy named Kruger who’ll be looking to donate some excess year-end money to the Human Fund.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Ravens linebacker Paul Kruger is expected to sign with the Browns after the league year begins. The contract is expected to be in the range of $8 million to $9 million per year.

The Colts were also reportedly after Kruger.

Maybe now he can afford a jersey that fits.

$8-9 million is less than I was expecting. Avril is going to make much more than that.

Martellus Bennett going to Chicago, kinda disappointing.

I wanted Bennett on the Browns. Guess I'll just have to watch him on local TV in Chicago

One of two I kind of hoped for.

Who's your next guy? Mine is probably Keller. If he can stay healthy, he could be used in a similar role to KW2

The St. Louis Rams have agreed to terms with defensive end William Hayes on a multi-year contract.

The 27-year-old Hayes made an immediate impact in his first season with the Rams. He finished with 38 tackles, a career-high seven sacks, 13 quarterback pressures, five quarterback hits and a forced fumble.

Hayes signed with the Rams after spending his first four seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

Phil Loadholt was set to be one of the very top free agent tackles on the market. The Minnesota Vikings made sure he got there.

As first reported by Tom Pelissero of espn1500.com, the Vikings have agreed to a multi-year deal with Loadholt. The fifth-year pro is an outstanding run blocker that helped key Adrian Peterson's 2,000-yard season. Pelissero said the Vikings increased their offer to more than $5 million-per-season before the agreement was reached.

That makes Loadholt one of the highest paid right tackles in the league, but Minnesota did not want to lost him to a division rival. The Chicago Bears were reportedly interested in Loadholt, and that interest may have inspired the Vikings to extend their offer a little further.

Peterson has reached a new level of NFL greatness. He gets the guys around him paid.

What is the holdup? Jets own half the league QBs, so this can't be a quarterback thread as usual.

Keller or Cook.
Cook is 3 years younger and seems to be the Brown main target.
