How embarassed would everyone be if the Browns signed Mr. "Kickalicious" to fill Phil Dawson's shoes? All we would need is "He Hate Me" on our roster and we might have a real contender. http://www.foxsportsohio.com/fox-sports-...mp;feedID=10938

Most of the trick shot kicks are completely pointless, but the regular field goal type kicks in there are respectable. Though, he's hardly kicking in the swirling winds of CBS.
In any case, it's just a tryout.

He was kicking in some windy environments, granted, rarely on the field. But the fact that he can kick some of those ridiculous trick shots does in fact speak to some legitimate skill.
As for the Kickalicious reference, I don't care if his name is Peggy Sue Rainbow, at 6'2", 245lbs, if he can put kickoffs out of the endzone, boom high hanging punts and down them inside the 10, and laser lock 55+ yard FGs consistently, I say sign him up!!

Im going to play devil's advocate just for the hell of it.
The guy obviously has some "touch" with his kicks. Could his ability actually benefit him in the difficult CBS conditions?

I don't care if he is calling himself something dumb; if he wins, it counts. I STILL do not care who wins us games! But I prefer the Dawson touch in the clutch.

If he can make the kicks for the Browns, I don't care if he wants to be called Kickalicious, Jennifer or Medman. All that matters is if he can kick.

Yeah, I agree. I'd rather have a kicker with a legit name but continue sucking butt like we have been since '99.

Already told my gf I'm buying my first jersey in years if the Browns draft Mathieu. I want whatever number he picks and "H. BADGER" above it

I'd approve of a viking kicker. The NFL style field goals had the distance. I just wonder how he'll adjust to winds and such.

He looks like he has the foot for the distance.
But my question is can he handle two things.
1) Can he handle the pressure. Or possibly even better, can he not understand how big football is, so that there is no pressure at all.
2) The winds. Can he adjust to the winds of Browns stadium. The clips showed wind, but Phil Dawson knew how to kick the ball in our stadium. Can he do it? Cause fall in Cleveland at that stadium. It gets very very windy

If they sign him and he does a good job, I wouldn't be embarrassed at all.. why would I?
On the other hand if whoever they sign stinks, I'm not going to be embarrased at all, just ticked that didn't keep Dawson..

I agree. That is pretty impressive. It's about leg and accuracy. He seems to have those. I think the wind blows in Norway. Never been there, but being on the North Atlantic to even the Arctic Sea, I would imagine Cleveland isn't any more severe. Cold shouldn't bother him.

I have a good fiend from Norway. From talking to him, Cleveland is downright tropical.

Funny this guy's video reminds me of the nonsense trick (fake) stuff our super QB Weeden was doing. No Youtube sensations please! Are we going to try out that Silberman chick next?

We all will. The thing is you'll never know if Dawson would have made it. You go back around here. You remember the day people were saying Dawson had a weak leg and should be replaced....the vast majority I might remind you.

funny, i applaud the humor!!!! after watching the video, i must say, i am impressed, im quite sure the wind runs crazy where he lives... sign him.. let him compete in t.c and see what hes got.. if he cant transition, then cut him in pre-season.. no one can replace dawson.. but it would be kinda cool to say our q.b. can hit clay pigeons with a football and our kicker can hit a football with a football too...lol
i am not one ,however, to say a kicker is just a kicker...the position is made fun of a lot, but it actually is very very important, kickers flat out win or loose games many times, score more points than any position usually.. and can nullify mostly a great return man if they can kick off well too

If your memory still works you will recall that I was one of the few who said Phil's kickoffs were designed to be HIGH not long back when the uninformed people were complaining, and I also said Phil could kick the 50+ yard field goals but it was a coaching choice that prevented him from doing so.
