I don't know about anyone else but i am starting to like this kid . Anyone who gets under the Fat Lump's skin is o.k. by me . Kid is tired of being pushed around and it seems like some people ( Tony The Fat Crybaby ) doesn't like when the shoe is on the other foot . The Denny Hamlin crash could have happened to anyone and only because of last weeks events did it seem controversial . He was racing to win .

Tony has become such a baby. There was nothing wrong with what Lagono did.

In the interest of full disclaimer: I like Stewart. I don't care for (not hate, just don't care for) Lagano for one simple reason: I think Sammy deserved the 22 ride this year.
With that out of the way, what Joey did to Stewart on a re-start is flat out normally considered "racing". Stewart has done it hundreds of times, as have most drivers.
Also, with Hamlin - hey, Hamlin took him out in Bristol. Basically admitted it, really. For the "big boys", payback is fine - just ask the "big boys". Watching the race in CA - I just don't quite think Joey intentionally took Hamlin out. They were racing - racing hard. A bad thing happened.
I don't think it was intentional, the wrecking pert - but the racing hard was intentional, and it should be.
Stewart will calm down. It's kind of odd how his perspective has changed since he's an owner, and not just a driver.
Pay backs are considered a normal part of racing - whether that's a good thing or a bad thing I don't know - but it's normal. More than Joey, I think Hamlin and Stewart may be on the hot seat for any actions in the future. Just my opinion.

I understand your personal attachment to Hornish, but that's no reason to hold a grudge against Logano. Sam proved he was more ready for cup now last year. An opportunity opened up to get Logano and Penske very justly grabbed it up. Hell, Logano is holding up Ryan Blaney from Nationwide this year so that sucks for him too. I'd love to see Penske add a car next year to bring Hornish up and then another car the year after to bring Blaney up. It will never happen, but Penske surely has a nice stable of good, young drivers.

Hornish was a good open wheel driver but Nascar ...not so much . Lagano is the better driver plain and simple .

And I hope it is known WHY I stated what I did. I have not one thing against Joey.....not one thing. It is nothing personal at all. I actually said it kind of "tongue in cheek" if you will. So, there's no grudge on my part against Joey.......and actually, I defended him.

Correct for the most part.
Sammy has undoubtedly gotten better as a nascar driver. Great? No. He had the misfortune of being a Roger favorite - which put him in the cup series before he was ready. He then got left behind.
Sammy is a good guy, and good driver, and I know I'm biased. I know that. So with that in mind, I'm biased.....take a look at what he's doing now. If you talk to him, he'll tell you he's letting the race come to him.
And again, I AM biased, I make no bones about it.

Good old Smoke.
He wrecks half the field at Talledaga and comes to the presser saying "That's just racing".
He gets squeezed off the track because he doesn't have the line to take the inside and he is all ticked off.
Tony....that's just racing. I'm not giving you my line because you didn't earn your's. Head to the grass son.

Denny Hamlin has been diagnosed with a fractured vertebra in his lower back, and will not be driving for about 6 weeks while it heals.
Depending how the other drivers feel about Lagano's actions..especially the veteran drivers..Lagano could be in for a tough time for a while.

How is Denny's injury Lagano's fault?

Because Lagano spun Hamlin out, that's what Tony and Lagano got into it about. Hamlin drives for Tonys team.
I like Tony, he is a great driver, but its almost like since he became a owner he has kind of taken it upon himself to be some kind of regulator. I don't really mind him going after Lagano, that's just how things get enforced. If you don't stick up for yourself drivers will take libertys with you. You think drivers didn't thing long and hard before doing anything to Earnhardt Sr.
But I think sometime Tony should calm down and not always be the one to give the sound bite to the media.

Joey didn't spin him on purpose, and Tony said he was angry because Joey blocked him...at least according to Tony himself on the video on Nascar.com.

I deleted my previous response because I didn't want to come across as piling on. Quote:

Hamlin drives for Gibbs, Tony's old team. Tony owns his own car with Haas. Newman and Patrick drive for Tony.

I can't believe Tony is getting fined for his swearing, threatining tirade, or his attack on Joey.
