Draft Quinn. Get what we can out of Frye now. Sign Green. Green starts this year while Quinn sits, then Quinn takes over next year. JMO.

I think Frye's the logical answer.
Green is banged up and even though our line should be improved with the signing of Steinbach. The question is just how much better?
Brady Quinn is extremely overrated and unless he comes with Charlie Weiss I don't think he'll do too well. I think he's a product of Weiss' system and won't succeed in other systems. So, I voted for Frye.

Green is over his injury. But even a "banged up" Trent Green is a dramtic improvement over a healthy Charlie Frye.
That being said, is Green a long term answer? Of course not, he is 37 years old, but he can be a upgrade stop gap QB to help either our current QB's or a QB that we acquire this year or next.

Hmm ... divide it into 3?
So the count would be 4 1/3 Frye, 2 1/3 Green, 1 1/3 Quinn ?

r the chiefs still asking 2nd round for him? and do you really think a "stop gap" QB that will start only 1 year is wroth the 2nd round ?

I'd say he's worth a 4th - 7th round. No higher.

They WANT a 2nd round for him. What they WANT and what they will SETTLE for are two differnt things.

I went with Frye.
Not because I think he's the best QB there, but because hes the most logical at this point.
Green would be nice, but I dont want his salary, and he would come at the cost of a draft pick. We're so devoid of talent that we need every pick we have. Now if we trade down in the first, and get some more picks; bring Green in!

My understanding is that the Lions offered a 7th and the Dolphins offered a 6th. Even though the Chiefs are wanting a 2nd it's pretty obvious they aren't going to get it.

My question is this:
Which name did they have listed first? Because it seems like most people will vote for the first name on the list.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

If your talking about mine, give my vote to Green. Mine wasn't too hard to understand. Green should start this year while Quinn sits for a year then takes over in 08.

If we draft Quinn then he'll start right away -he's ready to start in the NFL after his tutelage in a pro style offense under Charlie Weis. If we bring in Green we won't draft BQ

Unbelieveable... we will NEVER have another young, drafted QB be successful here ever again if the Fans have anything to say about.. New kid comes in and if he doesn't lite it up from day one,,, no fumbles, rocket arm, perfect size, no INT"s, 50 TDs, Never gets sacked (no wait, they don't care how often he gets sacked,,,what was I thinking) Unless he's perfect from day one,,, with no learning curve allowed,,,, Then he might as well hang it up,,, don't even bother to report to camp,,,,

I was the biggest Frye supporter on here for a long time. But, I'm starting to believe he just doesn't have what it takes to be a starting QB in the NFL. He is a very good back up, but in my opinion, he just isn't a starter.
