With him returning from catastrophic injury...Lattimore could be a valuable asset for a team that takes a flyer on him.
If he is available in the 3rd...do we grab him and stash him? Put him on the PUP and then see what he has late in the year, then see what he has the following year...as a very very legit backup to TRich, and then parlay that into a 1st or 2nd rounder a couple years later?
Or is that a tough sell on a running back. I mean if Ahmad Bradshaw is getting signed, and Lynch got traded for a high amount...Lattimore healthy could really net gain for a team.
Thoughts?

I'd love to have Marcus Lattimore on the Browns. If he falls to the 3rd/4th Rounds, then I'd love to take him. We have to remember that teams in the NFL nowadays prefer to rely on 2 RB systems. I don't think we should put all of the pressure on Richardson.

I don't want any RB before the 6th round. I think we're good at the position...

I like Lattimore a lot (as well as a few other round 3-5 running backs in this draft), but don't y'all already have Hardesty and Ogbonnaya? Seems like overkill with this team having many weaknesses at other positions.

I would certainly be willing to take the risk with Lattimore, even if he can't play until half way through the season, or even if he has to miss the entire season he could turn into a very special player in the future. I would say if we have addressed our biggest needs and he is there for the taking in maybe the 4th round, I would love to take him.

Well, it worked for Carolina for a few years with Williams and Stewart. Still, I think there are better ways to improve our team with our third.

Hardesty looked good last season at times better than Trent. Didn't we re-sign Obi? No thanks jeff lol

If we draft an oft injured RB in the 3rd Rd. Yopu Guys would go banana's on the front office just like you did on the Hardesty pick (which I like) ... JMHO

+1
I like the RB group we have now. No need adding to it. Especially a guy that won't be ready to play until midseason or later.
We have holes elsewhere too. Fill those before drafting a 1 year project.
No thanks.

My thoughts exactly...maybe if there 6th or 7th round???
Just not a position of need. I have no idea why some dawgs don't believe in Trent...forget justifying trade to move up to 3. Just Trent as a RB...kid is a stud.
Hardesty...lets see pretty good guy if healthy??? So another??? as a backup?
OBG...solid. Nothing great
Also we are talking about a position that studs come about in 5th n UDFA - LOADS of qualified RBs coming into the NFL season after season. Need is a minmum.
JMHO...granted the kid would have been a high draft pick prior to the injury. We have absolutely no need involved. I'd rather do an over kill on DBs or QBs things we got needs for.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

I like at Lattimore as an asset to trade down the road.
If he ends up flashing...people will want him
