It happened a few times in the real draft, I think back to back years, when the teams time expired and they didn't put in a pick, the next team up was allowed to select and whenever the original team made up their minds they could put their pick in. This is what I'd prefer if I'm not able to make a pick.
I don't know San Diego's team needs.

At this point I'm mostly lurking although I got lucky and was online in time to make my second round picks. But I'll give my opinion for what it's worth. I think if you do the real NFL draft thing then the mock draft will get wacky. There will be too many teams getting skipped and it will make it unrealistic. I think it's better to vote on the pick like we did for the Bengals in round one. And my suggestion would be to go ahead and vote now as it has been a really long time since the last pick.

So far they've taken a guard and a corner. Any suggestions?

They have a ton of needs, but I think they still think o-line is the most urgent. Travis Frederick could play guard for them this year and shift to center when Hardwick retires. Even after that, they still need more o-linemen...

They need at least one tackle, another guard as you mentioned, DL depth, an OLB. Center is not real high on their priority list.

Give them the best tackle on either side of the ball...either DT or LT/RT
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

How about Jordan Reed, TE, from Florida.

I agree that Center isn't high on their list, but Frederick played guard at Wisconsin prior to this year and was real good there. He's solid value here. And it's such a desperate need for them. Frederick has my vote.

I'll throw Oday Aboushi out there. I've seen him anywhere from 24 to Indy to 6th round - but lately I've been reading round 2 or 3 is where he ends up. And I think LT is a much bigger need than a 2nd OG/future OC. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I would agree to a tackle but I'm not sure that Aboushi is a good fit in a zone blocking scheme. Picking for San Diego is hard!

Indeed. And Quessenberry is probably the right choice anyway. He seems like a good zone tackle.

Da'Rick Rogers is a good pick for this point in the draft.

Thanks, Rams needed Wr badly and this kid got major talent an baggage. If baggage goes away can turn into starting wr and possibly more. I also thought good valve at this point.

It was a busy day at work, and yes, I am trying to find players to fit the zone blocking scheme.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

More than halfway through the third round -- no Barkley or Nassib yet.

I know this is a weak draft class...but that was for 1st rounders. Getting into the 3rd round you are talking about teams like Denver, Giants, Browns who can take developmental QBs which these QBs actually had 2nd round status...and they are still there. Usually a 75 rated QB will get taken over an 82 rated position player cause of the QB position. Here we got 80+ rated QBs n positions player being taken that are rated less then 75. We are past the realm where these QBs are BPA...just not a QB friendly board...lol Time to go hit the little white ball!
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

here's one perspective why the QBs are dropping a bit:
the thing about this draft class is it is pretty strong in the middle. so, as the Titans mock-GM, do I fix the defense with a potential starting-quality CB in Poyer, or do I give Jake Locker a flawed backup QB?
Locker is the main problem with their offense, but I don't like Nassib or Barkley, so I'm not going to get one when there are other guys I think will drop a little more.
