- Early bye week - One primetime game (Thursday night at Bal/Pit) - Home opener against difficult opponent - Middle of schedule filled by playing teams coming off bye weeks
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
Dolphins open the season at Cleveland. 1PM kickoff.

I hope for a nice mix. I hope we don't have any Monday or Thursday night home games.....Sunday would be OK. I don't want to head up on a Wed. or leave on a Tues.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
Only 1 Primetime game against the Bills on Thursday, Oct 3, but with Flex scheduling if we are in the playoff hunt and so are the Steelers/Ravens you can bet one of those last week matchups would be moved to Sunday night.

Would rather play a team we had no chance of beating.
We always lose openers anyway, why give up a team that's beatable?
Dude the dolphins made massive improvements this offseason and have 2 second round picks....trust me we have a slim chance at best.....

I'm not understanding why we have to finish at Pittsburgh again ... I thought we typically flip flop home and away with divisional opponents each year, so I assumed we'd play Pittsburgh HOME our last game ... It seems like we ALWAYS finish with more games on the road and Pittsburgh finishes with more home games

Still don't like the Thursday night games, but my wife said she'd go with someone else, so I guess that solves that. Like the later bye week, and having the bye before Cincinnati. don't like at Pittsburgh to end the season, again. But hell, with the Indians start, let's get this season going.

Inside the Schedule
A new season means new hope for Browns fans. Respect will have to be earned, just ask the schedule-makers. There's only one prime-time game on the schedule, a Week 5 matchup against the Bills. The Browns get the first look at the rebuilt Dolphins with a home game to kick off the season. The Browns face six teams coming off a season of 10 losses or more in 2012. Is the stage set for progress?
Key Game
Week 17 vs. Steelers Oh what the heck. The plucky Browns -- 8-7 and with their playoff fate in hand -- travel to frigid Heinz Field to meet the rival Pittsburgh Steelers, also needing the game to secure the AFC's final wild-card berth. It's must-see TV, flexed into "Sunday Night Football." Faith Hill will come out of retirement for this.

would have prefered Miami in DEC for a snow game and 3 out of 4 on the road to finish the season sucks but overall I like the schedule.
Quote: I'm actually pretty cool with the schedule.
We've known who our 16 games were for a long time... just go play the freakin' games and win some of them. Stop being the team that OTHER teams see on their schedule and count as a "should win" game.
Hey every year we have the toughest schedule...we are in the toughest division in the NFL.
This week that week. One game at a time n play to WIN! Important not to dig a hole but very hard not to with a tough schedule n NEW O n NEW D n maybe the first time in a long time...we will not have a NEW QB starting.
I mean depends how you wish to look at it.
Some will see each game as a loss Some will see each game as a win...
pretty much can guarantee both will be incorrect... of course when prediction time comes...I'll be the 16-0 guy.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
I can see 7 wins out of that schedule. It doesn't look like the guantlet we started out with last year. Don't get me wrong, Miami, Detroit, and Buffalo can play up to any team an given sunday; but I'll take it. I see wins over Miami, Buff, Detroit, KC, and Cinci before the bye. Heck the optimistic individual I am, I'll throw in a week 2 win over Baltimore considering their off season losses.
It's going to be a rough outing with a new system in place but we have play makers on this team and some guys will improve.
The Idea with this schedule ( as well as others) is we need to start STRONG. by the time we play GB we could realistically be 5-1. By the Bye week we could be 6-2.. I see 8-8
Didn't see Purple or emoticon of any. So I assume you are serious.
Rams...oooh closing in on .500 49ers...lost to Ravens the SB Champions Zona...scares everyone Seahawks...Up n comer but Played way over their heads...will it continue?
Us...we got 3 Post season competitive teams...ALL WITH AMAZING CONTINUITY!
I know the Bozo's n Talking Heads are all over the West - Don't make it so...Most improved Division does not make TOUGHEST DIVISION.
JMHO...last I looked the SB Champs reside in our Division...you listen to all the Bozo's you would think that the Seahawks n 49ers played against each other in the SB last season.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
the AFC North has been the best division in football over the last few years, but the NFC West was the best division last year and likely will be again this season.
SF has gotten better since the SB (at least on paper), has Baltimore?
Seattle played over their heads? I guess maybe Wilson? but, that defense is for real. Isn't it Cinci playing over their heads?
St.L looked much better under Fisher (especially on D).
I'm more hopeful for us than AZ, but, sadly, we're about even (I like that we have good line play on both sides, so I'd give us the edge).
New Owner, new CEO, new GM, new coaching staff, new systems on both sides of the ball, and a HUGE cloud over our owners head which will almost assuredly be a distraction the entire season. Hard to get excited before one ball is snapped. I'm in wait and see mode. Come September we will all see how this works, or doesn't.....
I like the schedule. Provides a nice mix of games for traveling up for games. After a decision to not attend the Thursday night game due to a prior commitment, I'll make the following games.
Dolphins, Bengals, Lions,Ravens,Steelers, and Bears.
As for how many we win, I am excited. I think the last coaching staff was inept and held this team back. My feeling is the lakefront is going to be rocking in late Dec.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
