I posted this on my facebook page but i was hoping for alittle more hlelp.could you all please send prayers...

Back in the early 70's i really wanted to be a carpenter but there were no openings in the union...seen an ad in the paper for bricklayers so i went in to take the test...Ended up with the highest test score of everyone that applied...So i was excepted...Anyways i couldn't have asked for a bettter 1st job...It was the Sandusky High addition...i got to learn everything except stone [ that would come later]. Anyways i had 4 guys that sort of took me under their wings to show me the ropes so to speak...Two of the guys had that tough teaching any two must have seen something in me..
The 2 tough teachers have since pasted, but the 1 said to me,{ ya know Bob i was hard on you when you were an apprentise, but just look at you, you're just over 25 and already running million dollar jobs..I tried make sure i kept in contact with all of them through the yrs...Hell 3 of the 4 have worked for me several times...and if they needed a job i would always make sure i found a way to make it happen..
One of them now lives in Florida..we talk at least 2-3 times a yr..well last night i called him..We talked a bit and then he said Bobby i want you to know i have Prostate Cancer..he's hoping they caught it early enough..I told to hang in there and he knows i'm with him and to keep me posted...I will not post his name because he graduated before my class got into HS, but everyone that graduated with me would know his mom from PHS..Please send out a prayer for my friend..if anyone would like to know who it is please message me and i'll let you know..

dave i know of the treatments...my dad died from prostate cancer...and i really really hate the yearly test...
