Where do you all get your news? I've had enough of the FOX NEWS ALERTS and BS from uneducated tv commentators. Radio talkers can't be trusted and the DrudgeReport is clogged with entertainment news. There has got to be something better out there. What I would really like to find is a website with nothing but serious news and intelligent, honest commentary.

www.cnn.comwww.cleveland.comwww.wkyc.com And from the Yahoo main page, for the most part. For Browns news I come here for the most part. For general offbeat news, here and a site that I cannot link to on this board.

I like NPR too. I also go to WTAM.com and newsnet5.com for local stuff and cleveland.com and read the sun newspaper stuff from my old hometown. For national news I check out yahoo.

I tend to use Yahoo, but I check a good deal of sites (Drudge, HuffPo, HotSoup, MSNBC, etc.) to try and get a wide deal of the news.

Fox news network. They are Fair and Balanced. Sometimes I'll switch to CNN or MSNBC for laughs. AOL might be worse than any of them but its fun to argue with them ( Libs ) in the post section. I never watch Nat news on regular TV except Local.

Can you give warning before you post something like that again? I'm drinking a latte, for Pete's sake!
Seriously, you don't watch FNC because they are fair and balanced, you watch it because it is slanted in your direction. FNC tilts right, CNN tilts left, MSNBC is sorta in the middle. Ironically, people say they want fair and balanced, but they don't. They simply want what they agree with to be trumpeted, hence why FNC was such a good, money-making idea.

For talk news,I watch MSNBC line up. They alsp have them on the msnbc site. Not really so much for "fair and balanced",because everybody has their own "perception" of things. So if you read any commentary from someone,it will have that slant. What the MSNBC evening line up has is variety. So you see things from the different perspectives.
You don't have a liberal line up. You don't have a conservative line up. You have variety. Then when all is said and done, you can draw your own conclusions from the mix.
Tucker Carlson ; Libertarian Chris Matthews; moderate democrat Keith Olberman; Liberal Joe Scarborough; (former GOP Congressman) Conservative
Pat Buchanon guests as the conservative voice in debates there quite often and is fairly articulate. I like Scarborough probably the best out of the line up,but Hardball with Chris Matthews is also a fairly hard hitting show.
Their web site is very user friendly and links up with Newsweek and the Washington Post extencively. Stories updated frequently with story updates from the AP as well as Rueters. I find it's one of the most efficiant news sources on the net IMO
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I actually love watching Olbermann, but I don't think he's liberal. I think he leans that way, but I think his show is pretty fair at hitting whoever is available (outside the constant assaults on O'Reilly, which make me like him even more ).

Thats like saying the Pope is fairly religious. I love Pat Buchanon and his books. May not agree with all of his stances but for the most part I agree alot with him.

With the exception of times when I'm bored and I go to surf news.yahoo.com, I typically just get my news from here.
There is nothing going on that is so important that I can't just read about it later at my leisure. No need to waste time watching it on TV.

My point exactly.. And here I get rebuttals, and unprinted statistics, and other points-of-view that tend to bring each article into a new light of scrutiny, so that I do not need to confirm each reporters facts. You know, like on Bird-Flu vs regular Flu.

I never really watched MSNBC before, I just figured all the letter stations were the same. I always liked Tucker Carlson for some reason. Maybe its because I am a Libertarian, too. It is not really the political slant that bothers me; everyone has got one. I just cannot stand the tele-promptor bimbos who have no idea what they are talking about. I would listen to commentary from a communist as long as it was intelligent.

I stay away from any news. I hate politics, so, for me, its all pretty meaningless. I just live in my own little world---which has worked for me so far.

I get all my news from Jules. It's easier that way. She tells me what to think and how I should feel. Some of her commentary sounded familiar so I looked it up. Sure enough it came from Rush Limbaugh and Fox News.

I get news from a wide variety of sources. I use CNN.com, The Drudge Report, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, and NPR mostly.
