The guy stands in there and takes hits that only guys like Big Ben and the Hefty Lefty have been able to absorb and he has a track body. If it wasn't a knee its gonna be something else.

Shouldn't there be a thread on this guy already?!?
Picture today from an off-site practice session.
Held...maybe this will put to rest the assumptions some have made about Weeden's work ethic...
Anyone know who is pictured here?...
The guy to the left of Weeds looks like Justin Blackmon. So this might be guys from the Oklahoma State team.

[So you believe with the O learning an entire new scheme yet again this season, he'll be as ready as he's going to be in week 1?
You don't feel it may take a little time for the O to gel at real time game speed?
Whether it does or not, That's what Training camp is for. That's what pre-season is for.
Can this team hit the ground running when the season starts! Can this team hit the ground running for the start of the season? For the first time in TWENTY YEARS! ? Can I get a ?
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

You old coot. Wasn't getting the knee drained fun. The mixture of blood and pus was nice to look at it and it the needle felt really good. My knees bother me, but I can still run and things like that. I can also tell you when it's going to rain or if a cold front is coming in---a day early. LOL To YTown and Purp-----I am not trying to make this all about knee injuries. I used that as an example because one occurred. I had a similar issue when I played. Huge thighs but skinny lower legs. Couldn't build them up, no matter what I did. I think those types of legs lend themselves to speed, but not durability. Again, just my opinion.

j/c Browns notebook: Quarterback Brandon Weeden says he feels ‘like a completely different player’ BEREA: Armed with a new playbook, improved fundamentals and a season of NFL experience, Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden will enter training camp with some swagger. “I feel like a completely different player,” Weeden, the 22nd overall pick in last year’s draft, said Monday at the team’s headquarters. “It’s knowing what to expect. I didn’t know anyone in the locker room [last year]. I didn’t know the routine. There are just so many unknowns. Now I’ve been in it for a year, and I know how the weekly routine goes, and I’ve got myself into a routine. “I’m going to go out there with confidence. I’m not going to be timid. I’m going to go out there and play hard and leave it on the line and take the chances I did and always have. [I’m going to] throw the ball and throw the ball in tight windows and trust my arm. It’s hard to play this position when you are aiming throws and second-guessing throws. You have to play aggressive and be aggressive at all times.” Weeden reported to camp Friday, along with rookies and some other veterans, and has been working on the field since Saturday. The Browns will hold their first full-squad practice of camp from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, and it’ll be open to the public. Although the Browns have yet to formally name Weeden their starter, he clearly is on track to secure the top spot on the depth chart for the second consecutive season. Weeden will continue to take the reps with the first-team offense like he did in spring practices, Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said. Jason Campbell will work with the second unit, and Brian Hoyer will receive third-team reps. Weeden believes he’ll capitalize on his new opportunity in the vertical, downfield passing game Chudzinski and offensive coordinator Norv Turner want to feature partly because of the work he has done this offseason. Weeden has shown better footwork this summer and displayed “big improvement” as a leader, Chudzinski said. A couple of weeks ago, Weeden spent a few days building chemistry and working out with Browns receivers Greg Little and Josh Cooper in Oklahoma. “We got three really hard days of work in,” Weeden said. “I threw until I couldn’t throw anymore, and [Little] ran until he couldn’t run anymore.” Now Chudzinski said he’s eager to see how Weeden responds when the defense plays faster and the competition intensifies during camp. http://www.ohio.com/sports/browns/browns...ksEnabled=false
