I'm approaching this, with the pre supposition that the Cia, or some unknown National force controls the major new stories, like the George Zimmerman trial, or whatever they chose next. But I'm just looking for an answer to, Does anybody have any idea what " lesson " or purpose we as (stupid commoner, regular folk zombies, ) are supposed to get, or learn From this total Bull! overcoverage of some Baby born overseas? Even ten minutes of it is making me sick, Physically ill. If there was a point! I mean if there was some point to it, maybe I'd understand. Can anybody explain this?  I hate to even start the topic, I wish it would just go away. But I wish Every newstory they ever talk about would go away. Except the ones with a point.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I have no idea why this is a story.. None. I mean, it's nice and all and I'm happy for them. I'm happy for any young couple that has a child.. terrific and I wish them the very very best.
But all this hoopla, pardon me, but I don't get it.

They are Royals. Their baby may some day be the King of England. It's the fantasy life. Watch the Disney channel and it's all about Princesses, and Kings and Queens and so on.
I don't follow it, but at least I get the Prince and Duchess' child more than I get all of the hoopla over Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's child.

For those who don't understand the Brits' obsession with royalty ... in America we call them "Kennedys".
Kate Middleton is attractive, though. I suppose now, in a few months, we'll be seeing pictures of her in the grocery-line tabloids again. So we got that going for us. Which is nice.

not sure why people are upset on this item. i'd rather hear about them than the Kardashians or whatnot from the tabloid spector.
imagine if a sitting US President had a baby. it'd be pretty big news too.

Kennedy's? There's some of them left? 
As for the royal baby news, eh, don't really care myself, but it beats having to see news on Justin Beber and the like.
Funny thing is I noticed recently that with all the "talent/dance/singing" shows that seem to run 4-5 nights a week, that I find myself more likely to stop and watch an infomercial than to watch one of the.  Although more than likely I go goof off on the computer.
200+ channels and not a damn thing on.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

I just spent the last 25 minutes catching up on every thread in the tailgate section and let's see... we have all of the same people, all on the same side of the argument they've always been on, making all of the same points they've always made, about all of the same topics they've always discussed from racism to abortion to healthcare to taxes to government corruption...
So if my choice is THAT or THIS.... then I'd much rather celebrate a beautiful little baby being brought into the world to a wonderful young couple whether they are royalty or not and whether they are on another continent or not. BRING ON MORE BABY UPDATES!!!!!!

Are none of the complainers in here old enough to remember the 80s and all the Princess Di hoopla (God rest her soul . . .). Our country has always been and always will be obsessed w/ the royal family. It's a fact of life. To this DAY what are like 90% of little girls, including my 4 year old twins, into? PRINCESSES. And then they grow up . . . Sort of . . .

True Story-Maybea month ago me and my painting partner are working at someone's house, he's 63 with no kids. The family has one little girl.
My friend says the kid is weird because she wears the same thing every day!
So I ask him, princess get up?
Yes.
I tell him they all do that now. My girls did it, every girl does it. 
Way to go Disney.
