Well I started in 2009 and I took 4th place. 2010 I did really bad. 2011 I took second place losing by 1 point. 2012 I did bad.....So every other year I did good so I'm coming for that crown this year.  I'm in!!

I actually made my picks according to the link/spreads below. The "for now" meant "depending on injuries" before the 1st week. The picks are are adjustable/changable?
Are the spreads posted by CBSSports or a member here?
When during the previous week leading up to gametime will the spreads be posted?
When is the cutoff for changing/updating the spreads for the upcoming game(s). Or are they posted once and if Peyton Manning breaks his leg on Wed......take the Chiefs on Friday.
When can picks be adjusted till? Right before gametime? Etc,?

The spread will be set Wednesday morning IIRC. Might be Tuesday. Once the spreads are set they don't change.
I don't remember where the spreads come from but I do remember it's a betting source, it's not Hooper making up the spreads.

I'm been doing this long enough to know that it doesn't matter for me. Actually, not knowing the spread would probably benefit me. Heck last year I made every pick by flipping a coin and I did better than the year before.

I think I'll use that method for the NCAA FB Bowl games this season. Who knows which teams are showing up to play those games.

The spread is up, start picking. Cutoff is one hour before the first game of the week. Most of the season has Thursday games.

Out of the 4 teams that picked 8 correct I had the lowest number (41) and the MNF was 59. I also don't know how I won. Flap had the closest number.

Adding to the confusion Flap was the only one to choose the game correctly. I see no other variable that could be the decider.
Until this gets sorted out it sounds like choosing the lowest number possible is a safe bet.

It doesn't really matter. I was just pulling Hoop's chain, that's all. It's just some kind of glitch in the system... or FreeAgent actually sent Hoop the registration fee... hrm

Flap chose SD....Houston won. But that shouldn't matter. Like someone else said, probably just a glitch in the system. It's not like you get an extra point for winning a week so I can settle for losing the tie breaker.
