It's like God sent us a little gift
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

He is one of the worst staring QB's I have ever seen play. He makes Colt look like Montana.

I'd say Quinn is the worst 1st Round QB in the history of the league. I can't think of a worse one.

JaMarcus Russel wins that one hands down. That said, I have no idea how Quinn keeps getting jobs, other than to keep people from calling for the backup.

Absolutely,, Russell is tops, followed very closely by (and in no particular order) Leaf, Shuler, Akili Smith, Tim Couch, Klingler, Harrington and the list can go on and on.
Brady Quinn, by virtue of when he was drafted in the 1st round, is way down the list.

I remember asking him once what he thought Quinn's biggest flaw was...his answer was that he didn't have one.

Like others have said, Jamarcus Russell
Which means BQ wasn't even the worst first round QB in his draft class.

Tim Couch
60% completion, 11,131 yards (avg 188 per game), 64 TD 67 INT on THAT expansion team?
Couch doesn't belong in the discussion of "worst 1st round QBs of all time"

I still remember all the excitement, myself included, when we got Thomas and Quinn. I thought for sure our fortunes were changing.
What a disaster Quinn turned out to be.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Thats what I thought but didnt want to even respond. He didnt have much of a team when he was here. He was pretty good and very good at times in the final minutes.

If you look at that QB class you could make an argument that he was the best QB in it. For a 2007 class that literally brought 5 of the best players in their respective position, they could not produce a half-decent QB.

I agree 100%. Couch was bad, but he was 10x the QB Quinn is. Ryan Leaf was the worst IMO followed closely by Russell.

What if we asked this:
With our roster/coaching staff right now, would we rather want a healthy Weeden or a healthy Couch leading the team? I'd say Couch, but that's JMO

Had Couch had thie offensive line, running back, and wide receivers we have now he would be considered a top 10 qb in this league.
He had a terrible OLine his entire career. The best running back he had was Errict Rhett and William Green and the best wide out he had was Kevin Johnson with the 4 #2's. There was no talent when he played and he still helped the Browns get to the playoffs.
He does not belong on the list at all.

What's wrong with Wali Rainer, Jamir Miller, Daylon McCutheon, Oprheous Roye, Earl Little, Corey Fuller, and Lewis Sanders?
I just made myself sad. I'm going to go lay down now.

The Browns had a good defense in the playoff year. The other years not so much.

I'd still be surprised if he won it... with Sanchez hurt and Smith all over the place it should be a close competition.
