I want to pick up a baseball game, but I'm holding out for The Show in May. My friend says he prefers it over 2k7, so I'm taking his word for it, unless someone here can convince me otherwise.

Actually I'm still playing MVP baseball 2005, that game kicks ass. I wish I could get some kind of a roster update to my ps3 though, I don't know how, doesn anyone know how to do that?

I like the game alot. I haven't played a Baseball game in some time, probably like 6 years.. MLB 2K is pretty decent.. I like the hitting with the sixaxis, you use the swing motion.. I't tight, I like it.. Will try on-line tonight..
Have been playing Motostorm on-line alottttt latly..

I just rented it today and so far it's pretty awesome and a kind of hard, I like it because its not easy.

Right now I'm having trouble wiht my pitching, I read the tips but I'm still not that good, any suggestions?

I'm using the Yankees right now.

Switch to pin point pitching if you are having trouble. The breaking point can be confusing at first if you arent familiar with the pitchers breaks.

Any hitting tips? That dumb L3 thing before the pitch is not working at all, I don't know.

I have it for 360, but im sure you could change the hitting from the swing stick to the classic swing, where you use the analog for power/contact and the actual button to swing.

Either that or just practice, eventually it gets easier.

use the motion, slightly tilted back, and be quick.. Time it from the highest point on the delivery.. When you see the ball at the highest point, thats when you want to swing. The ball will be there slightly afterwards, like qaurter sec. Just practice.. Home run derby helps too..

I have to say, I love this game too, if you let it play thro, awesome stuff.. The Pirates got a pretty decent team now

Be on later around,OAAAAAA, well later, Idiol is on tonight..

Well, got to go take a Sanjaya, be back later..

LOL, I will give no more help.. Played my first on-line game last night ( MLB ), and the batting was classic style, which I have never used.. Well, to make a long story short, I lost 25-0.. I hit about 30 fouls in a row, ( was getting fun ), and ended the game with a shut-out AND and no-hitter..

I need to practice that,

I enjoyed getting whopped on though, learned some things,

It had nothing to do with it being on classic style, you just arent good at the game.

Classic style is much easier than the swing stick. I mean, all you do is tap the button to swing. Its a beginner mode.

Really? I prefer the swing style.. IMO, much better.. Jacked 37 hits my first game.. I just have to get used to it.

You are right though, I'm not very good, LOL, this week anyways.

What's your PS3 tag so I can add you. I don't have MLB 2k7, but I do play MotorStorm and RFOM.

LOL, I was talking about RunningGhost. Yeah, I have your name. Hey, do you have a mic at all? I was trying to talk to you one night on RFOM but you weren't answering, so I'm guessing you don't.

Just finished an awesome awsome game, Yankees vs Red Sox, neck and neck the the whole game. It was tied at 5 in the seventh and then their was a rain delay, lol. Still tied going into the bottom of the ninth and then a red sox player gets a walk off, lol, oh well. This is great game. I'm glad I bought it.

Always wondered the same thing, would be "kinda" cool to have him on there though....

There is a guy on the Giants who plays LF that has the same batting stance and same attributes, just change his name.
