Was a little unimpressed for the build-up to the episode. I figured there would be something in this episode to get people talking tomorrow and I didn't think that the fight was big enough to count as that. I assume it is setting something big up, but it just didn't wow me like the build-up made me think it would...

For the A.J. fan, I could care less about that character. pain in the ass that usually seems like a distraction to the show for me. They made a point of pointing out he and his girlfriend are living in a less than disireable area. so someone at that party will probably steal or worse to add to his storyline.

I love that rifle! Yeah it went from him saying he never offed anyone to him shooting that french canadian guy and he will get busted for the guy ripping his shirt. He called it himself.
I thought the episode was a lil lame and think after seeing the lake and all that Tony wants out. But then the fight happened.

As someone pointed out earlier, I thought I saw latex gloves also...AND I believe he did this Canada, not US. Should help Bobby a bit.
I don't think the fight with Tony will be a bigger issue. "T" made him off that guy as payback for the fight so as to "pop Bobby's cherry" in the killing department. Something Tony seemingly admired about Bobby earlier in the boat.

I didn't notice the gloves, but then why would you be around killing and all that and leave the gun with your prints? So the gloves makes sense. The shirt though stuck out and after saying "They DNA everything now a days" thats going to be what does it. I thought he was going to chicken out,,blasting him in the head like that after as the guy was prob pleading for his life was wild.

My gut feeling tells me that with this being the last 9 episodes in the finale Tony will either die or will go to jail. WHat kind of message would a show send out if the criminl lives happily ever after??

Yup, I've already got the entire thing figured out,.,, Bobby gets nabbed for the murder,, He cuts a deal with the feds for a light sentence or Relocation in the Witness Protection Program if he sets Tony up..
Tony goes down,, ends up a cell mate of Johnny Sak.. Janet takes over the family, but Christopher Kills her and he ends up as the Boss..
Sylvio is sleeping with Carmela,,, and in the middle of the night,, AJ comes home,, Sylvio thinks its a burglar and he shoots and kills AJ,..
Meadow is ticked off and shoots Sylvio.... Then Christopher has to shoot Meadow, but instead decides she's hot and has an affair with his cousin... Yuck...who then shots Christopher, but he lives long enough to shoot Meadow Dead....Chris then dies in the final episode..
The cut away with a picture of Tony Soprano, Behind bars talking with a FED giving up all the secrets of the Family......

I think the Sopranos will go down as the great TV series-show of all time..with that said,its not a totally accurate......
1st of all Tony is too involved with street level guys. Most bosses are so insulated from from the hits and collecting..getting your hands "dirty" so to speak.
Tony going to see Dr.Melfi.....please..Christopher becoming a aspriring screenwriter. C'mon....thats where the Hollywood comes in.
Being a goodfella isn't reflected on how huge the mansion is,yacht, etc...
Most guys will earn $5,000 one day,lose it all in 2 days and figure out how to get it all back..and in the meantime he's gotta kick up what he earns to his captain,then he does the same to his underboss and so forth....
if you guys want a good story about the rise and fall of a family,research the local Cleveland family......it would make one heck of a movie.

I think you are being very nice about this episode.  ..I was dissappointed with this episode and many of last season's also.  .. I hope this show gets better before it goes off.....

That's the best of it sadly.
We watched 4 seasons in like 5 weeks (we were on holidays), we are currently stalled in the final season coz it's a little soapy.
Thatr Lisa character bores me to tears and her voice makes me want to bang my head against a wall. Sounds like a fine beginning for an episode.....

I hate this show! and for one am glad to see it go...There is never a good ending to it! Killing..Womanizing..Beatings..ECT. ECT. My brother has all seasons on dvd, I have to leave when he is watching it because it just makes me feel mean and sad . I know its just a show ...But the way they act on it makes me want to do bad thinks to them for it.And I hate feeling that way because that is not me. Isnt there enough anger and violence in tha world allready?

Yep. Disposing of the Sopranos will make peace and harmony and there'll be no more wars. If we could only get Road Runner cartoons, the Three Stooges, and the NFL to be a touch football league, terrorism would come to an end.

Good first episode....not great, but good.
Yes, someone important in the cast will be killed off soon. I think it's going to be Christopher. And then a big battle will start between NY and NJ. All while Tony is fighting of the FBI.
My wife and I think the series will end with Tony being killed or in prison (no happy "ride of into the sunset ending").
And something has to happen with Dr. Milfi. Why keep her on the show if some big plot twist doesn't happen?
Oh yeah, Meadow should do a nude scene too. He he he...couldn't resist.

This is what I was referring to in an earlier post how the show threw a lot out there and then leff no final resolution. I always waited for that guy to come back or something come of it. BTW, that is one of my fav episodes. The exchanges over the bad cell phone connections was great.
