The cool thing about being in Jersey is seeing them in areas you know, and drive through, but yeah it gets a little old doing any work for Italians around here, now every Pizza/restaurant shop owner is "connected" Kind of funny really, in a sad sort of way. I get a kick out of it though, watching these henpecked cooks claim connections while being browbeaten by their wife into staying home for the flooring install. My store is actually doing the flooring in the Naval Yard condos that they mention alot in the Show.

It was weird how Phil said the big 3 including Tony, Sil and Bobby. I'm very surprised Paulie wasn't included in there.
Quote:
I think Paulie is mixed up with Phil. Paulie is the one that went off on Sil and Bobby about wiping out Phil. Just a guess.
You guys are probably on to something here. Remember when T kept hounding Paulie with telling Johnny Sac that Ralph made those fat jokes about his wife? Why wouldn't Phil think Paulie was one of the top players...unless he was involved in some two timing?
On the other hand, I'm about 0 for 672 in predicting what's going to happen in this series.
Random thoughts.... - They did mention taking out Paulie and Phil nixed it. - Paulie has a stick up his butt for being passed over for Bobbie. - Paulie has played both sides in the past and remember Sil talks about how the earners were looking for new management. Paulie isn't management. - Paulie was involved in the botched hit on Phil.
I think Paulie somehow helped on the hits on Bobbie and Sil by providing their tendencies and timing to NY. As far as what I think will happen to "T"....
Somewhere, somehow I think "the ducks" make their return. There was that song that Nikka sang in the first episode of this season..."Four little ducks went off one day, over the hills and far away." T, Carm, AJ, and Meadow...4 little ducks?? Is far away "death" or witness protection / hiding???

Interesting thought about the Ducks. We'll see.
And I think we'll see Dr. Melphi one more time. No way she's in every episode and her plot ends because someone tells her she can't help him. Not after all that does she just walk away.
I'm still rooting for that Russian guy from the "Pine Barrons" episode to come back and kill everyone. That would be great!

lol...I've been waiting for the Russian too!! Like many things with the show...one of those open ended endings...Dr. Melfi could be done too. It wouldn't surprise me Chase just leaves it open...

In one possible ending, Dr. Milfi is reading a newspaper outside of a ice cream shop...She might be reading about the death of T or a member of his family...I guess the last shot is at a ice cream shop...but they shot a few endings....
Now I don't know this for a fact...but I read a few spoilers and the one guy as been pretty good with his info..
It has also been mentioned that Meadow gets killed, AJ takes revenge, and than he shoots Tony and the FBI shoots AJ right after he shoots T. Oh and Carm gets shot in the face somewhere along the way...I can't wait to find out.

...and last night's episode on A&E?.....drum roll please....."Pine Barrons"!! Still one of my favorites.
Tony to Paulie over a bad cell connection: "Listen to me, this guy was a Russian green beret. He was in the ministry of the interior or something. He single-handedly killed 16 Chechen rebels! Be careful."
Paulie relaying to Chris: "The guy's killed 16 Czechloslovakians....He's an interior decorator."
Chris looking puzzled: "Interior decorator? His house looked like $#!%"

What the hell was that crap??
Jeez I don't know which is more of a let down, watching the last episode of The Sopranos or clicking over to the cav's game when Sopranos is over to see the cav's getting skunked.

Whoever wrote that last episode needs to be canned.
It feels like an hour or so of my life every week for the last few years just went down the crapper.

They have to be working on a new show with a different name,,hence the last "Sopranos" episode. At least thats what I hope or what we just saw was the worst final episode ever Friggen joke.

That was horrible. The good part of the Cavs having a horrible game was that I was able to put them on the smaller screen of pic-in-pic and watch The Sopranos. I thought my cable went out as well. I frantically called one of my friends and asked what happened at the ending, and we debated for a while before realizing that it was the ending. I don't want to give too much away to those who may not have seen it yet, but didn't it feel to the others here that it was setting itself up for an ending to remember? The music, the late arrival, the family.... blech. That was horrible. After the Tribe game, the Cavs first half and that, I may head to bed rather than deal with the rest of this day...

I must be the only one who loved that ending... And I mean the only one in the entire world. My adopted thoughts... As he saw his daughter walk in he got wacked. The show ended with Tony's life. I know it doesn't make sense, it doesn't make much sense to me either, as they show the show from other characters viewpoints. Maybe he makes it out ok? That's just it. Some are upset, easily understandable, believe me I was to. I'm just trying to take it as a fitting, personal ending. EDIT: I'm guess for now I might as well go with the thought that Tony is dead... Remember in the first episode of the season, and in the flashback right before Tony laid down in 'The Blue Comet'? He said when you get shot, you probably wouldn't even feel it. It was foreshadowed this last season, but then again, nobody knows.

That would be my take on it, but regardless, it stunk.

I could be wrong, but I don't think he is gone, at least from an HBO/money-making standpoint...It could be the start of a "movie career" with regards to the big screen.....

It showed him getting shot?
Or is that just what you think happened, I don't get what you are saying.
It ended with her walking across the street to the diner on my t.v.

Well, my thoughts were all over the board on this one. Initially I was with everyone else... "WTH HAPPENED?! What's with my cable?" What was everyone really expecting? Them to close off his story in a single hour? He'd either wind up dead, in jail, or as an informant. Either of those would not be a fitting end to such a great series. Those final minutes were some of the most tense I've ever felt watching a TV show... It'll be how Tony will feel for the rest of his life. The more I think about the ending, the more I loved it. We won't know until the 2012 movie release 'The Sopranos'.

Yeah I thought there was a problem with my DVR because I was TIVO ing and watching it at same time in case something happened during the show I could go back and not miss a thing. My wife looked at me like I hit a button on the remote or something.
I am just kind of dumbfounded as to what the writers were thinking.
