Yeah, the AFC is by far the worse conference, so I don't understand it either.

RGIII has had a pretty bad first half on Monday Night Football against 49'ers.
and a a second half.
Indeed. NFL.com calls it a "low night" for RGIII... another to add to his list of bad games. He still hasn't learned to slide either =\
As someone elegantly worded it - he'd get murdered up here in the AFC. Redskins needs to find something to get him in rhythm and pass protect a little better for him.
Just curious, what makes you think he'd get murdered in the AFC more than he already does in the NFC? AFC bias, or do you believe the AFC defenses are legitimately much more vicious?
I believe the original mention was AFC North, not just AFC... and I agree, he would take a serious beating in this division.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

I think he was talking about the AFC North specifically... Cam Newton had a dynamic first year, then a less than stellar second year as they tried to get him to play more under control, now he is having a very good year in year 3.. RGIII is more than capable of the same thing, of course he is fighting injuries, which isn't helping...
Cam Newton was also viewed as a diva headcase but seems to have that under control as well... That is the big difference, everybody knew coming in that Cam was a bit of a headcase, everybody thought RGIII was a level headed scholar... it will be interesting to see what happens to RGIII over the next couple years.. to see if he matures into a QB who has all of the skills or if he goes off the rails..

Getting hit hurts more when the temperature is cold and chilly... AFC North is filled with attack defenses. Even Cinci has emphasis to get after the QB and they gamble more with their pressures. With Jauron, I felt we had the most conservative defense in the AFCN and perhaps the league at that time. JMO though.

It may seem like it.........but overall, getting hit hurts more when your team is losing. Them temp doesn't matter much. With that said, sure, every team/player would love to play in 65 degree weather. Sure, if it's 10 below, that's different as well.
The players aren't cold the way the fans are cold.

RGIII asked Redskins not to show his bad plays
By Kevin Patra Around the League writer Published: Nov. 24, 2013 at 11:13 a.m. Updated: Nov. 24, 2013 at 12:49 p.m.
Robert Griffin III and Mike Shanahan are trying to settle their differences within the Washington Redskins' facility.
The quarterback and his coach met earlier this week to try and hash out their issues after it seemed like RGIII threw the coaches under the bus when he said the Philadelphia Eagles knew what plays were coming, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday on NFL Network's "NFL GameDay Morning." Rapoport said there was an "air of positivity" after the meeting.
NFL Media columnist Michael Silver reported during the segment, however, that RGIII has expressed to teammates his dissatisfaction with Shanahan.
"This could be coming to a head," Silver said. "Inside the building, we talked to people familiar with the situation, they perceive RGIII as kind of insecure, specifically about Kirk Cousins, which may be one reason he (RGIII) was so eager to rush back. At Baylor (University), they didn't put RGIII's bad plays up on the board in the meeting rooms. Sources familiar with the situation say he has asked the Redskins to do the same. They have refused to up to this point."
Shanahan responded to the report quickly Sunday.
"That's completely false. Robert wouldn't do that," Shanahan told Mike Jones of The Washington Post. Shanahan noted he doesn't pass along personal conversations, but he wanted to set the record straight after a perceived "character assassination" on Griffin.
The initial controversy this week spawned from a perception that some Redskins players wanted Griffin to take more blame for the team's struggles. A request to not be called out for poor plays would bolster the belief that there is an undercurrent of discontent within the locker room, even if every side denies it exists.
Griffin sometimes has been defensive when speaking with the media this season, and Silver's report supports the idea that it could be more than just perception.
This situation isn't going away soon, as much as Shanahan and Griffin might want it to skedaddle. At the end of the day, owner Dan Snyder will have to decide if the relationship between his franchise quarterback and his coach is salvageable, or if a divorce from Shanahan is best for all parties.
We previewed every Week 12 game in the latest "Around The League Podcast."
What if they come to the conclusion that RGIII isn't going to work well with Shanahan? Do we take a chance with the Indy first round pick for RGIII or something else like a Second rounder or a 1st rounder and Weeden? Not that they'd take Weeden.
I always said I liked RG, but didn't want to give away the ship to get him. Well, giving up a 1st we got from Indy isn't horrible or a second isn't horrible either.
Anyone want him?
I have seen some horrible threads on this site, but this one probably takes the cake. Geezus, what the hell is going on with this site? It used to be great.
Also RG3 is a crybaby bitch. Browns FO has been pretty . since 1999, but sure am happy they didn't mortgage their future for him. LOLFAIL.
Although, I guess trading for him wouldn't have mattered with how fail rich, and brandon flipper weeden turned out.

Ever play football in the snow/cold? It hurts to get hit, regardless of the score. You're generally more sore/muscles tight the next day as' well. Losing is just the added bit of sadness to the situation.
Nevertheless, to stay on topic, I'd pass on RGIII. It would seem McNabb to continue to run his mouth about the RGIII and Shanahan (sp?) situation.
I think that's all Donvan does now is run his mouth to the media. A once has-been still trying to keep his name in the media when, most everyone, is wanting to forget about him lol.
