Then again...when's the last time anyone talked about this show?
I don't see it as dumb. The show has run it's course creatively, at this point, you do whatever gets ad revenue up a bit.
Typically that means killing someone off or introducing a cute new kid.

Just watched the episode. My thought is he'll be back. It'll be a few episodes but I don't think there's anyway he's gone for good.

I think they'll bring him back in a 2-3 part episode.
Family Guy without Brian doesn't really make sense.

thats my thought, Brian and Stewie make that show, I'd kill off one of the other dumb kids before those two.

I don't really watch that show. But the times I did watch it....Brian and Stewie were the only thing worthwhile. They will reincarnate him at some
point.
