Maybe someone should warn this virgin that he/she might be the main course ......

I will be there with my brother, it's my Christmas gift to him. He's a Bears fan and has never been to a NFL regular season game. We'll be in the Dawg Pound near the front. Not looking forward to the cold, but I am looking forward to a good time. Driving to/from Columbus.

Not sure what I'm cooking yet. Trying to find something I haven't done in a while or have never done.

As usual, anyone from the board who wants to stop by is more than welcome! If you need directions PM me.

Don't forget that it is the annual Toys For Tots drive!

Honestly you probably don't need to bring anything other than what you want to drink. We always seem to have WAY too much food anyhow. Some sort of side dish might work - beans, slaw, potato salad maybe?

I will be there in Spirit. I averaged 85 hours of work per week this year, and my ass is just to tired to make it to a second game this season

It is very silly to even think about, but other than the Texans, none of the teams in the AFC are mathematically eliminated yet!

Enjoy the game - hope its a good one...not sure what that constitutes now a days???

Do we kick their butt and have the Refs hand them the win??? for a better draft pick lol

I'm not going to worry about the W or L...just want us to kick butt from beginning to end so you all will enjoy as will I of course from the couch!

We're going. My wife is a very "appearance" oriented person....meaning, everything needs to look just right, clothes included.

She's already got all her stuff laid out, packing up, etc.

She seemed a little distraught yesterday when she asked me what I was wearing to the game, and when I'd get it ready and my reply was "Remember the camo bibs and my orange camo coat I wore Sunday when I was hunting? That's what I'm wearing to the game."

I probably won't wear the bibs.......but I'm sure taking them. Plus handwarmers. 2 in the gloves, 2 taped over a shirt right on my kidneys. Keeps you warm.

That's an idea I never thought of. I'll be sure to employ that bit of magic when I go to Three Rivers for our last game. I'm not too fond of the cold anymore.

Back in the day when the Browns were playoff regulars, I had some battery powered socks that were just awesome. Usually it's only my feet that get cold, and those socks kept me comfortable for those cold games.

Where they the D size batteries?

I had some of those that I used to go tube fishing in February for crappie.

Yes. There was a big battery pouch at the top of each sock.

I never found those all that effective for just sitting. My feet still got cold.

I finally bought some boots with 1200 g of thinsulate that do the trick. I am with you, if I can keep my feet warm, I am good because I know how to layer the rest of the body.

8 hour foot warmers under the toes do a good job as well.

It's (hopefully) his last home game at CBS, and I imagine he will be there.

This is probably his last season, period...

I can't see other teams having interest in him, regardless of whatever offensive scheme they run.

Totally agree. I hope he saved his money.

Our worst fear came true, he 100% was the next Chris Weinke. Although he won't play as long as that guy did. Hey at least he has more career wins than Weinke!

I could see us keeping him depending on who/if we draft someone and depending on what his cap situation is.

Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn, and Jimmy Clausen are still employed by NFL teams.

Weeden will be fine.

Yikes, huge roster spot wasted if we were to keep him. Give the spot to someone who can improve and etc. The Brandon of today will always be the Brandon of tomorrow and no evidence at-hand suggest otherwise. This is the same guy that called his first flipper pass a "boneheaded mistake" - and then proceeded to do it several more times thereafter in virtually the same situation. The light bulb in his head is too dim and the power source that powers that light bulb is too weak.

Pay him his unearned money, cut ties and get someone else on the squad.

ALL JMO.

Thanks for the keeping warm tips - I'll be going to the game next week vs. the Jets. Been praying for the Jets to suck so I could get decent tickets...lol

My boys came through as they got me good seats 9 rows up (at a corner spot) for my recent birthday/Christmas gift.

I lost most of my winter stuff in Sandy as they were downstairs. lucky for my Golf stuff still being there.

Well I know those going are probably on their way if not arriving there now. Hope its an exciting one.

One cold weather tip that nobody's mentioned so far:

Don't work up a sweat walking to the stadium. Save some layers until after you're seated and had a chance to cool down. Moisture's your worst enemy when it's cold.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer mid december game, weather wise, in Cleveland. Nice, light snow falling. Little wind. I didn't even wear my bibs.

Heck of a lot of bears fans there.........at least where I was sitting.

Good tailgate with Columbus, Saint, capital...........The chili looked awesome, but I didn't get to try it as it ended up on the ground due to an out of no where wind gust.

I think there were more Bears fans than Browns fans there. In fact I don't think it was even close, but that's what you get when you suck in December.

That wind gust was nuts! First tailgate mishap of the year. At least my crock pot was metal - the two glass ones on the table didn't fare so well.

Great as usual to see you; glad you had a good time.
