I do respect him being his own man no mater what others think. Kinda reminds me of me

But I've never heard him ask to pull his finger....

Brown has more respect for GM than to tread on his territory.

The way you are talking about Jim Brown is awful and you should be ashamed as you have a job with some company that I don't know about.

I should be ashamed as I have a job with a company you don't know about.

Got it.

Jim Brown is in an adviser role which means he's never speaking on behalf of the Browns

Quote:

"Jim Brown is one of the most iconic figures, not just in Cleveland, but the entire NFL," Haslam said. "His playing career still stands as one of the most remarkable in league annals, and his work in the community since his retirement, especially with our youth, has been just as impressive. He will be a tremendous asset to our organization and we are thrilled that he will be representing the Browns in many different capacities."

From the mouth of Jimmy Haslam, owner of the Browns

rep·re·sent

verb
verb: represent; 3rd person present: represents; past tense: represented; past participle: represented; gerund or present participle: representing

1.
be entitled or appointed to act or speak for (someone), esp. in an official capacity.

Pit, I hear ya.

I've said my peace so others can finish with theirs. The good (ie: bad) thing about Jim Brown is that he always gives his critics more ammunition to come back for seconds.

***Gordon, I really didn't think you could be this stOOpid, but you exceeded my expectations. Wussy.
Manziel, see Josh Gordon. Dumbass.***

I think this latest comment is being overblown. I really don't see how he embarrassed the Browns.

I don't like everything Brown says---or did----but this is not a big deal.

Oh there have been plenty of times I simply couldn't stick up for what the man says or does, and I'm really not sticking up for him now.

But like you, I believe people are reading more into it than what is there in this case. I understand where he has set himself up as target. It's just from watching it, I didn't take it the way some on here did.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
