Just finished watching season 5. When I started watching it, I was hooked. Now the longer it goes on the more disappointed I am. I have some questions for anyone who has kept up with this show.

1. Jax started out to be a likable guy. But the longer we go into the seasons, the worse he seems to get. Is that just me? He seems as bad if not worse than clay. He's turning out to be a cold blooded killer.

2. Gemma is the witch we all thought she was. How long is Jax gonna keep putting up with her?

3. I know Jax wants to pull the club out of guns and drugs, but man, he doesn't mind putting a bullet into someone to get his way. Again, is he a good guy or a bad guy?

Any insight you guys can give me would be most useful.

Jax is a hypocritical douche.

I kind of hate how blatantly obvious the connection to Hamlet is.

After seeing all of season 6, I think 5 was about building up that bad guy in Jax, and as you watch season 6 you'll see him noticing it too. There were some surprises in 6 that really caught me off guard, and a few mis-directions to keep you on your toes.

I watch the show, but think it's been going down hill for a couple seasons now. End of season 6 was pretty good. It's time to end the show at this point. One more season and call it curtains.

That's because of Gemmas character. One of the benefits of her sleeping with Kurt Sutter.

Good for her. Self preservation. Sometimes an evil necessary.

Thank you all for the posts.

When I think back about all of the shows, the one thing that keeps coming back to me is.....Violence begats Violence, two wrongs DO make a right, live by the sword, die by the sword. See a pattern here? I don't know if this is by design or just random acts. But this would make a great show for "How Not To Run A Business" . Where I left off, Bobby just turned in his VP badge. He could see Jax was not getting it. Jax is getting drunk with power. Revenge is all that they understand, and they keep getting deeper and deeper in trouble. Maybe I will get season 6 and see how it turns out. Right now its about as much fun as watching the Browns front office

I would say season 6 is worth it, it does tie up a lot of loose ends from season 5 at the very least. Parts of it were slow, but I guess they have to set-up the storyline at some point, and sometimes that seems to drag on, but in the end it brings things together.
