My grandma was admitted to the hospital today. We don't know what's wrong with her yet...lots of pain in her stomach, side and back and severe headache. She's 85 years young and is a riot to talk to. When I was pregnant with Anna (6 years ago), my mom and sister had a journal to give to me. In it, all the ladies at my baby shower were to write words of advice for me about motherhood. Grandma wrote: why would you take advice from someone who's children are giving you this terrible advice, clearly I didn't do my job right.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Grandma is fine and will be discharged from the hospital later today. She has shingles, so luckily it's not too serious. Painful, but not too serious.
