Not since Lord of the Rings have I seen a better job of slippin, sliding and tapping..Who am I referring to other than Mr Personality himself, Joey Porter!! This fool came across to me as totally fake and scared of what might happen to him because he and his buddies decided to jump Levi Jones in Vegas. Included in his little apology or whatever you want to classify it as were wonderful character statements such as: I'll only get involved on incidents on the field not off of it I got a wife and four kids to feed and I need to watch out for myself I should have never let myself become involved in something like that After seeing what the commish is doing to guys in the league like Jones and Henry, I dont' want to be the next one going to the prinicpal's office.. I am reaching out to Levi to get this behind us. The quicker the better.  (and was it just me or did he have a bit of a smirk on his face while saying it all?) He had a few more but here's a hint Joey. Assaulting and robbing someone is called a crime. You, just like everyone else should be held accountable for your part in it...Good luck at the commish's office and hopefully in court..I hope they sususpend you for a game or two and Levi gets some of that "bacon" you need for your wife and 4 kids...What a complete tool!!!

Hopefully he doesn't come away from this unscathed. I, personally, cannot stand Porter.
For his sake, he better have socked away enough money to feed his kids. What a pathetic plea for sympathy.

The point I'm trying to make, (which you obviously missed) is Porter didn't have a thing to say about this until the suspensions came down yesterday. Now, he's running around with a "please spare me" attitude. Unless you think nothing should happen to him for what he did..(Which would make you extremely two faced) You need to think a bit before you type..In this instance, you look quite foolish..

OK Christy ya caught me..on the "Lord of the Dance" slip up...Not surprising that YOU would be the one to catch it though...  And lastly why should am I not surprised, that a squeeler fan such as yourself couldn't bring anything substantive to this argument when your team is the one that cultivated the little felon.. I'd love to see him get thuggish again and break Bens finger while in a pile of players...After all, he's Joey Porter and he's an enforcer right? PS: Is that the hammer he used to threaten Levi Jones with??

It's easy. It's called homerism. This is the same guy that said that all the arrests didn't matter, wouldn't hurt the team, yadda yadda yadda. Now that his team's franchise LT got his butt kicked in a fight, he's all two-faced about it. Does that really surprise anyone here? It shouldn't. Then he asks if it had happened to Wimbley how we would react. Well, that would be different as the Browns haven't had 8 players arrested in the last season. Only in Curly's world could such a hypocrite be allowed to call other people "two faced".

Oh its quite easy...Ya see, you guys can clamor about Chris Henry until the cows come home, but you turn your own blind eye to this incident because it in no way tenders any benefit to either of your teams..Like I said before, if this had been Big Gwen or Tammy Wimbley, this place would be roaring with outrage., however in the twisted and sick relationship and way of thinking that many of you have developed here, its no big deal that a rival player gets assaulted and robbed so long as he's not a squeeler or clown. To be called a hypocrite by anyone here is stupid beyond belief. This is the place where folks said Ray and Jamal Lewis should have been put away for life and the Bengals are full of criminals, yet, Who does Jamal Lewis play for now? Who does Eric Steinbach (an arrested Bengal) play for now? Suddenly, what they did aren't crimes right??? This is completey off the wall and laughable reasoning but it makes perftect sense to so many of you because they play for the lowly clowns...Please, step off of your self righteous podiums and see what the point is...I am gonna love seeing the reactions if Porter comes out and does damage against both your teams...I can see it now..."he shoulda been suspended" anyway..yadda, yadda, yadda...Still, even without Henry we'll still stomp the lights out on the Clowns and beat the Steelers at least once..(hey they've got a decent team...cant take that away) And oh yes, I will be here to laugh about it....Then again I been laughing a really long time on this board anyway....
