There's been one or two comments on Richard Sherman in this thread, I thought I'd post the following link to YouTube. Like him, hate him, or anything in between, I thought this was pretty good.

I like this line from Sherman from that MMQB link:

"Erin Andrews interviewed me after the game and I yelled what was obvious: If you put a subpar player across from a great one, most of the time you’re going to get one result. As far as Crabtree being a top-20 NFL receiver, you’d have a hard time making that argument to me. There are a lot of receivers playing good ball out there, and Josh Gordon needed 14 games to produce almost double what Crabtree can do in a full season. And Gordon had Brandon Weeden, Brian Hoyer and Jason Campbell playing quarterback."

That about says it all. I can't argue with any of it.

Can I get a Amen

Amen! Ya can't really talk about sub par football without the Browns figuring in somewhere.

A follow-up:

Today on Total Access, we got to see isolation footage on Richard Sherman for the entire game, as he was one of their 'Sound FX' (mic'd) subjects.

To see the rant' in the context of that game's end was quite a revelation.

They showed the sequence of plays leading up to the tip-drll pick.... and the activity immediately after the clock expired. Not only that, they "let the tape roll" for several minutes after the famous interview scene. It was fascinating to watch his whole demeanor change- as the adrenaline dissipated from his system. Shaking hands with SF players and coaches, celebrating with the fans... a very different man 10 minutes later.

I really haven't weighed in on the RichRant until now... and I'm glad I waited. For me, he's been an intriguing subject- a true 'rags-to-riches' story. If you Dawgs aren't familiar with his backstory, I urge you to spend 10-15 minutes checking him out.

Anyway... he get a lot of attention (both + and - ) because he's not a shrinking violet. All the trash talk and its like doesn't really bother me- it's how some folks carry their game. It's not my choice of style, but then folks don't need to be exactly like me for me to appreciate them.
