Cardinals signed CB Ralph Brown to a one-year contract. Brown saw too much action in Cleveland's secondary last year due to injuries. He'll be battle Matt Ware and Darrell Hunter for a roster spot. HALLELUJA!!! Ralph Brown cost us more games last year. He HAS to be the worse player in the NFL of all time!!! He got burned more than my wife does my supper. Good riddance. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playernews.aspx?sport=NFL

Seriously, he came here on a moments notice and did slightly improve a little towards the end,, but not enough to make we want him back..

Well, Toast DID serve one useful purpose: his ineptitude led to Holly getting more playing time which helped Daven get a lot better as the season progressed. Holly = very solid nickel CB, IMO. Thanks Ralph!

good to see the Card's solidified their CB position without needing to waste a draft pick.

He actually did improve as the season went on...but it's no great loss that's for sure.

Yeah, Ralph was a solid player and came through when we needed him. He was really good at shrugging off his terrible plays, as shown by how he really could get up in player's faces when he made one good play and talk a lot of smack (then get burned the next one).
Ralph Brown covers his guy as well as a speedo does a fat man.
Ralph Brown's idea of coverage is something that's always confused me.
I'm sure they'll appreciate him down in Arizona..........

My nickname for him was "Makes Me Ralph Brown". By far the worst player to wear a Browns uniform.

Well, at least he got the #1 spot on Jacked Up when he laid out the Bucs' Alex Smith...
Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

Well, people can talk bad about him all they want, at first I claimed he was the worst CB I had ever seen, but after a while he stepped it up and played better as the season went, at least the secondary wasn't the worst part of our team.

Winslow/bodden: You have got to be kidding, right? The guy is going on his 8th year. (I think I am in the ball park)I know... check the stats.... "He stepped up and played better?" HE PLAYED BETTER? How long should it take for a player to not make a complete ass out of himself and lose us game after game? You know why Ralph Brown has always has a cold..... Why? cause he can't even cover himself. He is not the worse corner back in the NFl... He is the worse player in the NFL. EVER Thank God and Greyhounds....

His problem was 3 plays - 2 in the pre-season. He got "burned" bad for TDs. Those that like to blame CBs didn't realize he looked like he got beat so bad because Brian Russell completely blew his assignemnt. Brown was chasing the guy down because Russell was in the wrong spot. The other was reg season vs. Cincy - he slipped on the turf - result was a TD. Was he great? Nope, not at all. However, we play the Cards this year and karma sucks so bad mouthing him isn't the best move IMO.

3 plays? He got burned everytime a ball was thrown his way. Except one time that I can ever remember him even coming close to covering his reciever. Bad mouth him now?... that's all I've done whenever he got on the field. I can't wait to see him cover Edwards or Winslow..... Hell, make Bentley a reciever for thatgame for that matter. How bout Romeo Crennell? He can't nor ever could cover anybody. anybody.... If you only think he got burned on three plays, you weren't watching the same games I was. I can honestly say I have never seen a worse player play any position. not ever..... that's all I will say about that.

Son, I didn't say he only got burned on 3 plays - his reputation came from those 3 plays - 2 of which weren't even his fault. I said that he wasn't good - but he was no where near as bad as you people make him out to be.

As an afterthought, I see the cards also picked up "Mount Mitchell". Always thought he might do something. Maybe there he might.

Alright before you make an ass out of yourself at least read what I say next time.
Did I say he was the next Champ? No...
Did I say he was the next D Hall? No...
Now think about this, did Ralph Brown lose us games? No... In fact the backup secondary came in and did a DECENT job towards the end of the year, NOT ALL PRO.
Like I said in my post originally I thought he was the worst CB I've ever seen, he ended up getting a bit better as the year went on.
If you want to be a dick I don't care because you end up looking stupid, but at least read what people say before you make yourself look stupid.

Having a little trouble with contrary opinion? tsk tsk. If you can't handle someone else's opinion, maybe you shouldn't be on this board. Now... go to your room without supper.

Ralph Brown may be the worst player of any position to play in the NFL.
