Oh well...........he'll get what he deserves according to the law he wanted passed. I know this doesn't top that, but in Raleigh, N.C. they just recently had an "anti voter i.d." march protesting the photo i.d. requirement to vote. I don't care even if he did forget. As other have said, it's not an easy thing to forget, but none-the-less, he fought for legislation to come down hard on people, who also may have forgotten. Now he is the one busted, I wonder what he will do to get off with a slap on the wrist.
It would be interesting to find out if he is the first to be busted on this new law.
On the other side of this, he was all for a law not allowing weapons in schools, yet any law abiding gun carrier would be all for allowing legal, law abiding citizens the ability to carry in schools, in the event something happens while your there, you want to protect your children. The nuts that intend on harm, aren't too worried that it's illegal.

Gun control and banning guns are 2 completely different things.
From wikipedia: Gun control means any law, policy, practice, or proposal designed to define, restrict, or limit the possession, production or modification, importation, shipment, sale, and/or use of firearms.
Notice "ban" or any derivation of it is in that definition.
That being said, it is ironic that his driving the law change will have such a large impact on his future...

Sorry Damon. I carry and am quite comfy with it on. But...I know the laws, I know the incredible responsibility that comes with this right. He should too. Now why would someone supporting gun control have a concealed carry permit? It's a hypocritical and elitist train of thought. "I'm more important than others, therefore I should have the means to defend myself....but "less important" citizens shouldn't have that right." Feinstein and Shumer had concealed carry permits....until they were exposed during their anti-concealed carry endeavors. Many of these anti-gun politicians have armed bodyguards. It makes me sick that people representing the citizenry somehow think that the right to self defense only applies to them.

Well, that's just it. They want others to live under the laws which they pass or which they champion but not themselves.
I'm sure that this guy will have someone more moronic than himself out there defending him. Some lawyer will do it just for the money or media advertising value. There couldn't be any self-respecting person that will honestly believe in the cause this guy championed that could make a legitimate defense for his actions.
