4-0 now after some mistakes by the sox defense

going into the top of the 8th

if we can finish this one off, i like our chances of winning this series with cc (sox killer) going on the mound tomorrow

I heard him mumbling something after the commercial break when they brought in Betancourt. They had the camera on Fultz in the dugout but I couldn't understand what he said...

I'm not sure if you get it, but the game was also on WGN today...

I watched the WGN broadcast. They were saying that the booing of Jim Thome was surprising.

Hmmmmm lets see. Thome leaves for more $ to go to the Phillies.....then opts for the WhiteSux instead of another stint with the tribe because of $.

BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

It was kind of funny as there was only @ 18,000 or so there.

I liked what I saw today. A couple of BAD at bats for both Pronk and Blake swinging at first pitches that were not the kind of first pitches you want to your hitters go after.

Nice game for Barfield.

It is always a good sign when you get can get a solid pitching effort from your starter and the pen. We won today with a less than stellar performance from the bats.

He was joking with someone and dropped an F bomb, basically.

He wasn't completely miked up but you could clearly hear his voice in the background.

they say that every time the indians play the sox, about how they can't believe cleveland boos him, for all that he did with and for the indians

my take is that the fans have every right to boo, the guy said he wasn't going to leave, and he went ahead and took the money anyways, any time you bring up money with cleveland fans, you're going to get that same result, the fans don't care...

albert belle, manny ramirez, and carlos boozer got the same treatment...

and jim's a big boy, he can handle it, if not, that huge contract he signed when he left will sure make him feel better...

the funny thing is, of all these players that have bolted town for bigger money, the one guy who easily stands above all of them is still here, and has no intentions of leaving, and you all know who that is...

if i was at the game, i probably wouldn't boo him, but that's just me, and i know jimmy's a good guy, and i like the team we have now... but i can't fault someone else for booing him

after a few years, the boos will quiet, and fans will instead put all their energy into the guys they have, the sizmores and the hafners...

you will never win with cleveland fans, when it becomes about the money, they just don't want to hear it...

I was at last nights game, and I cheered for Thome. I cheered as loud as I could. People may be judgemental, but could any of us walk away from an extra $15 million? Plus, he was a model citizen and did a lot of volunteer work in the area. I wish he'd stayed, but I understand why he didn't.
