Because you are undervaluing Teddy's intelligence.
I am not saying this in a confrontational way. Heck, you backed me up before when I spoke of intelligence. It just seems that now you are pushing it to the back burner and favoring Carr because he has the measurables.

I don't think I've ever said I've favored Carr. What I am pretty sure I've said is that I would be happy with Manziel, Carr, or Bridgewater at 4, and that I think it is important that we get one of them.

I know you haven't outright said it, but I am not stupid.
And steve, it's okay. Heck, you might be right and I may be dead wrong. It's okay if we disagree. You have a great eye for talent. I respect that. It's okay if we debate. I won't get ugly w/you because you never get ugly.
It might be cool if we debate who is better...........Teddy or Carr. I'll take Teddy. You take Carr. It might help educate other posters who don't follow the game as closely and are looking to be educated.

Intelligence is tremendously important but I have said all along that Teddy being such a touch passer who puts an incredible amount of air under the ball worries me. it worries me almost as much as Manziel's size. I did not see a lot of "on a rope" tight throws that you need in the NFL. this is imho the reason why right now he isnt a lock to go #1 overall, his deep ball needs work but not many college passers are great deep ball throwers.
It is easier to get away with those throws in conference USA than it is in the AFC North. I do feel he is more ready right now than any QB in this draft. I think Carr has the greater upside and in the right system, within a year that he could catch up with anyone ahead of him.
manziel on the other hand is mr excitement and applaud the GM that has the Balls to take him in the first. If i was GM I would not do it but if Farmer takes him at 4, hell yea!!!!! lol not your standard situation
I know its time of the year for rumors but some of the stuff I am hearing concerns me greatly with Farmer and this draft. We take a RT at #4 in this loaded draft, I dont know, probably the move I expect out of these guys to be honest. not impressed.

I seriously am not trying to pull a fast one on anyone... I honestly don't know for sure which guy I would take if all three were staring me in the face at 4. I think it is likely that not more than one of them is available when we pick. Same as I would be happy to take Marqise Lee, Brandin Cooks, or Odell Beckham at 26.
I know it might seem like I am anti-Teddy to some people, but I have repeatedly said that I like everything Teddy does except for his ball placement. I only bring it up when people say he has no flaws or whatever, or that his only flaw is that he's skinny (lol).
Mourg, I'm not worried about Teddy's ability to put some mustard on the ball. I've seen him put plenty on the ball, but I do share the small-window concerns with Teddy due to his (you guessed it) ball placement.

Intelligent debate, Mourg. We disagree big time on Teddy and Carr, but I like how you debated.
Let's keep debating while keeping it civil.
I also have some concerns about Farmer. Hopefully, it's all a smokescreen and he really isn't as dumb as he sounds.

Okay Steve. It's all good.
Again, I wasn't calling you out. Just like hearing your opinion. It's good when two opposing guys debate. Helps others learn.
Oh.............I am not as big of a fan of Lee as you are, but I really like Beckham Jr and Cooks. I also like Landry later in the draft. I don't care that he is slow. He is a physical guy. He'll get open and catch the ball. Steve, there are ton of very good WRs in this draft. A ton.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you. You are concerned that Bridgewater can not dial up a fast ball when needed?
Have you watched very much of his game film? Not saying that he has a gun but there are plenty of throws that show he can dial it up when needed.
Do you believe that Manziel has a stronger arm than Bridgewater?
Manziel on the other hand can not drive the ball. He has an adequate arm.
