Thanks Peen. Yes that helped clear it up for me.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I don't think that many. Seems I read somewhere the seating will go from 71,000 down to 68,000.

They changed the angle , moved the cameras up.
Sucks ..... on the west end looks like there will be a few obstructed view seats.
seems like a weird thing to do.

Just have to wait and see if seats actually go in. I think in todays climate it would be hard to sell a seat at full value unless you had full view.
Your view might stop at the back pylon.
I like the new view....now you see what is happening on the upper deck of the stadium renovation. .

they will call those seats " the Muni View" ( bring back visions of the Lady by the Lake), and charge half price..

I still think they simply won't sell those seats. I think now that the pylons are in place, they can sit in all the seats and see which have a full view and which get marked to pull. Those who have those seats will be notified and be relocated.
Just looking at the configuration, my hope is by closing up the corners more and actually having the new scoreboards jutting out towards the field the noise level inside the stadium will increase.

Looks pretty seriously heavy duty.

Yes, it is but the overall west-end structure isn't finished yet. I'm really looking forward to seeing it. I am a tad concerned about the project being completed by the first home preseason game, but Sheiner said it's on schedule.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

Check out Jacksonville's new scoreboard. The largest in the world. Pretty impressive.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2142883-jacksonville-jaguars-reveal-worlds-largest-scoreboards
"After a $63 million renovation of EverBank Field, the Jaguars now have the two largest scoreboards in the world, with both measuring 60 feet by 362 feet."
So they are both longer than a football field...........including the endzones?
Wonder how hard they'd be to move to LA?

Probably easier to put them on a boat in Jacksonville and send them to England.....

JC: I think it would be cool if they took all the video from the cams and made a time-lapse video.
This essentially speeds up a video. Like show the whole construction in 2 minutes or something.
We've been doing that on the tugboat I work on when we make transits in port. We'll take a 2.5 hour transit from the seabuoy (essentially out at sea) to the dock and turn it into about 90 seconds. They look cool as hell. Especially when meeting another vessel or something, while on the bridge it all goes slower and smoother, but on the video you're like "Watch out!" lol.
Anyway, a timelapse of the build would be real cool

There are actually images on the screen in the West end zone on the view I just looked at. there is also smaller screens in the southwest corner and just to the north of the west screen that I hadn't noticed - they've got a "D" with orange lightning bolt looking graphics behind it. Sweet! Can't wait to see it in person!
Also looking forward to the sound system upgrades. After attending a few Buckeye games last year I realized how absolutely crappy the sound was in the Browns stadium. I knew it wasn't good, but wow, I never realized how truly awful it was.
If you keep looking at the previous images you'll see all kinds of graphics on the west scoreboard. Pretty cool.

If you look at some of the previous shots from today, you'll see some of the graphics on the screen for the pre-season home opener against the Rams. Can't wait to see these in person!

If I lived fairly close I'd go to preseason games. As it is, I donate to charity. I can't do a game in a day, or even 1 night in a hotel. It's 2 nights minimum. The reality is usually a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in a hotel.
I'm not doing that for a exibition game.

Some of the support structures for the jumbotron are right in the seats...are they going to remove the seats or tarp them over?

it was worse before they removed some seats UNDER the scoreboard, they had an obstructed view, looked like old Muni and getting a seat behind the support beam.
Probably remove them, looks like they are adding some to the north side of the east scoreboard.

They still have a lot of work left to do and not much time left. Hope they've got some long days set up over the next week-plus.

I think they are in good shape. The small scoreboard is going back up now that they finished construction in that area.....now it is mostly bolting signage in to place.
