Grab Carr, Teddy, Savage, Garoppolo or Mettenberger with 26 or later selection.

I only see one problem with that.

If history should have taught us anything regarding our Browns, it is that you can't answer the QB position by "insert name here".

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Why be positive?

Well for one who is never positive...lol

1. I truly think this is the team of Browns destiny...next 3 years will be the development of something to be proud of and continue with.

2. I truly think all be yeah yeah small data base...like some of you are some sort of Las Vegas odds maker...good is good. One doesn't do thing WELL and the retard...unless they have physical disabilities, drugs or home distractions. Hoyer is a good QB and I think the best QB (yep including Garcia's one year stint) we will have start for us since 1999.

3. I truly think we will invest in QB High in this draft there are QBs we want to be here. With a Bridge QB there is no rush to start them so that they are taught correctly and they are prepared when their era does begin.

4. I truly think we have one of the best DL's in football. The line of scrimmage is still the core of football.

5. I think we have a solid OL - I am sure we will be making some investments. and yes we got to have 5 30 million dollar men actually more cause we won't keep them all so we need to have a rotation. But if you can keep a core for 3 years then we got to give some up to their 2nd contracts. But Drafted contracts now are the key where prior they were a hindrance now where the bargains are.

6. I think we have the best group of skilled players since 1999. Tate, Lewis, Gordon, Little, Burleson, Hawkins, Benjamin, Cameron

7, We are young and will get better plus we will continue with upgrades few from FA most from the draft!

8. Hard to tell but it seems the coaching staff is together in this. Pettine was a blessing the guy is ready to become great and do great things. Tough and yet a Players coach as he is well respected.

9. The real negative for me will be the growing pains of NEW O and NEW D...we must persevere and next season we will be even better!

I think this truly is a team of destiny and I'm most happy for all the youngsters who have no other Browns experience then with the Expansion 1999 to present Browns. They deserve it.

jmho

I think he is pretty good and he does not hate on the Browns.

And he certainly won't be during preseason. LOL

I agree. I have always thought Wilcots was fair and seemed pretty intelligent in his color commentary.

I used to love Bernie's comments. Wanted color? You got it. I do not see this as a tune in for his replacement. Lapse of judgment. Bring Back Bernie Barrage starts now. I want him back. Anybody else?

Not sure, at this time, that I would want Bernie in any other capacity. But, as a color commentator is seems like thats his perfect niche. Many of the "outrageous" things he's said he was right about.

He's entertaining, funny, and he's Bernie.

Looks like Jimmy is trying to clean up everything.

I've heard Solomon say positive things about the Browns in the past. Maybe he was a hater, but in the past few years I didn't get that from him.

I like Bernie because, despite all the off-color things he says, he talks great football.

We won't see Solomon Wilcotts make the same pre-snap reads that Bernie makes before the play. We won't hear him make the same suppositions about where the play is going. We won't hear him make the same specific post-play analysis of what happened the way Bernie did.

Bernie was perfect for the preseason because he broke down the play beforehand, during, and afterward. He pointed out where teams needed to improve, even if it wasn't in the most PC way. I will truly miss that....in addition to such things as "Bless me father for I have sinned...I had to watch 2 quarters of Trent Edwards" or whatever it was. That was GOLD.

I like Bernie doing the games.He tells the truth,and calls it like he sees it.If a guy sucks,he sucks...and that's all there is to it.I get tired of commentators downplaying things by saying "He's had trouble in that area",when the reality is the dipshit just cost them another win,with his umpteenth false start ect;

I agree with everyone that the GREATEST reason for optimism is that Weeden is gone. We no longer have to listen to a post game interview where he blames everyone but himself for completing less than 50% of his passes and throwing 3 interceptions. Dude was just a straight cancer to this team.

The thing that really gives me the greatest hope for the Browns moving forward, a reason I haven't felt since we've come back in 99 is, I feel that we have football people running the team. Many around the league have talked very highly about Farmer. I think he is a bright football mind and will start to draft talent and not reach for players. This draft will tell us a whole lot about what this team is moving forward. If we take a player like Mack at 4, then I believe we are going to model ourselves after the Jets and Seahawks, a smash mouth team that leans on its defense. If we go after Johnny Football or Watkins, I think we'll try to be more like the Colts with Manning, a high scoring offense that has a bend, don't break defense. I don't know though, this season is going to be a complete mystery and one that I'm pretty excited for. We have a good core of young talent that we will only be adding to and some veteran leadership that will keep everyone in line.

Yes, thank God (!!!!) Weeden is gone. I know this IS the Browns team we are talking about as a whole, so let me just add I hope it makes a difference. You know?
