Mike Glennon might be available. Would love to see us get him...he's got a lot of upside. Given the circumstances he was put in last year he did great...better than most. This would give us instant legitimate completion at QB. Could be one of the better off season deals. Hope we are looking at it.

Welcome to the board. I recommend taking a look at the Rules of the Pound (upper right of the browser), it'll help answer some questions you may have on how things work.

Don't be surprised if this gets deleted, as there's a thread in the
NFL Draft 2014 forum on Glennon already:

I'm not sold on Glennon. I'd rather draft our own QB than to gamble on another team's reject.

I believe he is 24 years old, 6' 6", 225# -- threw for 2,608 yds, 19 TDs and 9 INTs in 13 games in 2013.

Lovie is trying to make a big splash in Tampa and get his own guys in there. This one he may regret.

I totally agree. I still think he was the best QB in last year's class.

I 'd rather have both Glennon and a highly drafted QB,

I can remember worse QB lineups than Hoyer, Glennon and a Rook for the future, let the best man win.

Welcome to the board! The endless QB debates needed new blood; this might be it!

I think the kid showed a lot last year and I felt that he made huge strides in a short period of time. Bucs would be foolish to trade him imho.

There is a Glennon thread in the draft forum ... but why is it there? Glennon is in the league already. IMHO, this forum is the place for the thread.

How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

I didn't put it there, I was just calling out that we already had a thread when this duplicate was created.

I agree with that. The original poster of that thread probably just made a mistake. Heck, I made a mistake yesterday. It happens. I'm sure the Refs will move/combine the 2 threads. (I think that they can combine threads now)

It's in the draft thread because he would probably be available for trade for a draft pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Dude, I wasn't blaming you for the other thread, just making an observation. Sorry it came out that way.

yeah, but he's not a draftable player, so it belongs in PF IMHO. What if he's traded for a future pick ...... or another player ...... or just released? I think that a thread about a current player should go in PF.

Fair enough. The article pointed to mentioned draft picks and inferred they would be this year.

Six of one, a half dozen of another.
