JC...honest question based on the thread title...

Do you guys actually use Twitter? Is it still growing or getting old?

I don't know anyone that uses Twitter (aside of ESPN), but I hear there are 200 million users. #thinkingaboutbuyingsomestock

Still the best source of getting info the fastest... Yes, not everything that you see there is true, but that can be said for pretty much anything other than print... Even the print online has been wrong...

If you don't use twitter, I'd suggest still signing up for an account tonight... Then look up and follow Adam Schefter, Jay Glazer, the @Browns account, and maybe some of the local people... Then you just sit there and let the info roll in...

I don't know follow any of the local people other than Ruiter (who I'm close to unfollowing) and Burge. MKC and Grossi are both terrible at their job. You don't need to follow them to really get the up to the date info. They do link all their stories though if you are interested in reading their stuff..

The league is telling the reporters to not break the news of draft picks before RG announces them... I'm not sure if that is mandatory for the local guys.. If there is a trade, you'll get the basics of it well before it hits TV.

Just my two cents. I know old people are anti twitter, but it's actually a very simple and useful application. If you run facebook, Twitter is basically a simpler version of that.

*also, as noted by cfrs, follow Aditi Kinkhabwala on twitter @AKinkhabwala, as she's the NFL network reporter posted up in Cleveland at their HQ...

The single worst pick was the trade up to get Brady Quinn.

Just to add to that...
My enjoyment on Twitter is purely for the hilarity of the parody accounts. Might I also recommend following:
@JohnnyFootball
@FakePettine
@Peyton_Drinking
@IamEvilTebow - this one is completely non-politically correct and hilariously offensive
@SNOSSports
@KorkedBats
@CaptTouchback
@FakeSportCentr
@FrankCaliendo - this is really him...and he's always tweeting about sports
@NotSCCleveland
@EvilMikeTomlin - This one is painfully funny too.

One thing I miss about Pat Shurmur is, of course, @FakePatShurmur, quite possibly the best in-game tweets ever. Tis a shame...

Fake Pat is still around... He just never tweets.

His call into the Ken Carman show was legendary...

Also, there are a number of players on Twitter. I think the only notable guy that isn't is Thomas..

@joehaden23
@bhoyer6
@BenTateRB (great follow)
@JasonPinkstonOL (another great follow)
@PhilTaylor98
@JOSH_GORDONXII
@TravisBenjamin3
@DonteWhitner
@Hawk

all verified by Twitter

Those are the guys that tweet regularly, I expect them all to be pretty active tonight... Guys like Kruger, Mingo, Desmond Bryant, etc.. have an account but don't tweet a lot.
