I think either it was Bortles, or we wanted to move down because we had 3 or 4 guys still on the board who are rated evenly, and could have one of them still left on board at 9 based on the teams picking. I think that the run on OT had to be seen. I wonder if Evans could drop to us? Interesting stuff here.
Spot on. This has more to do about knowing one of our top guys would still be there than wanting Bortles.

Todd McShay gave a nice little stat about 1st and 2nd round WRs in the last 5 years today. Close to 70% have been busts. So I wouldn't put so much stock in a WR, that he's a guarantee stud.
Yep. More importantly, there are always solid WRs available in the offseason.
The free agent market is always deep and guys like Bolden, Brandon Marshall have been traded for peanuts compared to what we got.
