Yep. Let's hope that he was just overcoached by Saban and tanks like other Bama players.

Could be, if they are really concerned about not being able to resign him.

I hate the Ravens and Steelers but they do know how to build a 3-4 defense. LINEBACKERS. And they both just got better. Of course having a great secondary is important too. And ours got better big time this year....

I think that it's obvious that we are very likely to be able to get one of Bridgewater, Manziel, or Carr at 26.

Freaking you out, huh? LOL

Actually, when I said the Jets were going DB, it was more an opinion of what they need.

I hope it's Bridgewater, but I'm thinking Carr.... but I wouldn't bet on it.

Manziel would put us back on the map, at least for awhile...

Marqise Lee or Kelvin Benjamin maybe at 26?

looks like a lot of people were right about the lack of true talent in this years QB picks. Exactly how I felt. But a CB???

Im starting to like our options at 26..... Clinton Dix, Manziel and Bridgewater all on the board. Not to mention a crap ton of wideouts.

A point to consider... 1st round picks have 5 year contracts.. 2nd round have 4 year... if you really want a starter long term.. you want a 1st rounder.. so question is.. do you want Manzell or Bridgewater if you take them in second round..

just looking to future and what an early second round pick would mean.. or could we package picks for a third 1st round pick

at what point do we trade up?

who would trade us?
Baltimore?

Green Bay?
Arizona?
NYJ?
Miami?
Philly?
KC?
Cincy?

Who is going to be looking for a QB?

Maybe Arizona ..... but they are close to being a great team. I don't know if they want to go QB this early. I think that all of these teams have far bigger needs here.

Agreed.

Imo Ari needs a S, OLB, DE, or a RT in that order before a QB,

Let this sink in..... On 12-31-23 it be will 123123.

The 5th year is an option, so it would be useful to have that with a rookie QB.

Seattle is going to have to upgrade Russell Wilson's contract in 2 years, where if he were a 1st rounder, it would be 3. It has its advantages.

We could probably move back into the late first for our second and one of thirds. I would be okay with that.

Sounds about right. I looked at a few mocks and Gilbert was 10 twice and 18 on another (though it was Prisco).

We might even be able to get Seattle's first for our 2nd and that 4th from Buffalo. I have heard that they are trying hard to get out of the 1st round.

Saints trade up to Cards spot.

Maybe saints want Dennard before GB?

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

We get the fifth year contract option if we take them in the first. That is worth trading up.
