Yep.
Next year I'll know to have a seatbelt installed on my recliner. I've almost gone thru the windshield a time or 3 tonight.
At least I haven't felt it necessary to throw anything at the TV. I am worried about Manziel ..... but hopeful. I probably would have taken Bridgewater ..... but what do I know? lol

I can just imagine Manziel running around like a madman, dodging tackles, looking for a receiver who is open to throw to and he throws it to Little. And Little drops it.

I think they should stand pat and/or only trade up to 31 or 32....don't want to give up that other 3rd

Our draft is over. Now the mop up of the 'also rans' begins. Getting into the back-ups, bench-warmers and practice squad guys.
Never have hope. You won’t be disappointed.

If we draft another WR, Little may not make this team.
We added Hawkins and Burleson. Add a guy like Lee on top of that and Little's days could be numbered.

I'd really love to get Lee, but I can't see him getting past the Panthers.

Same. If they only have to give up a fourth I am good with that.

That presupposes Farmer will BE here next year.... With this team that's very far from a certainty. If JFF goes out and gets killed game one against the Steelers Farmer may not survive for week 2.... I don't see Haslam as a patient owner.

Might make sense for the Cards to grab a QB here to groom.

We're trying to throw the ball downfield and he checked the ball down to Trent Richardson and the Indians on the choice.

I'm surprised he showed up. McShay graded him out to be a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Pats will trade out of their selection. Probably to us.

Sorry, not watching. I assumed he was in the green room.
For some reason, I have the Cubs v. White Sox game on.

As long as we didn't draft him I'm good. Carr was the guy I just flat out didn't want. He panics under pressure ala Brandon Weeden. I'm sick of soft QBs who don't have the sack to handle the pressure.

I wonder if we might be able to make a trade with the Pats here?

Guess not. Looks like the Pats make their pick. Kinda surprised that they didn't trade back, with those QBs there, and with us probably looking to move back up.

With Gronk done, the more I think of it, they'll take Lee here.

Yeah if they don't I bet the niners do. If Lee is off the board we are smart just to set at 35 and wait until tomorrow. I suppose we could move up to make sure we get Moses ahead of the Skins, but I would probably just wait for my guy to come to me.

I thought that - but they have a ton of need on the defensive side... I'd be surprised if they went WR with their first pick....

I don't like the Manziel pick, but I'll say this: If Manziel is on the field week one over Hoyer, Young or even Thigpen we're in serious trouble. My main knock on this guy after his swelled head was his size.
Definitely happy with the Gilbert pick though.
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

That's hilarious. Sal Paolantonio on ESPN just said that a homeless guy told Haslam to draft Johnny Football, so he did. LOL That's just about what I thought.
Haslam is a businessman, first and foremost, I think this is his pick. He knew Johnny would fill seats and all of us into football would be watching.
So Johnny will fill seats if he's not playing?
So are we gonna be faced with "Johnny, Johnny" chants every time Hoyer makes a bad play? Damn, every QB in the league makes a bad play too, but will they have to endure the chants for the backup like we will?
I think the pick was a mistake....time will tell.

The Browns sell out every game anyway. I don't buy the whole "we have to put butts in seats" aspect. I also don't believe that farmer would let himself get put into that position with his 1st GM spot. He had options before deciding to stay here.

+1 Browns fans are so fickle by halftime of the first game, if we are not winning by 3 TDs they will be chanting for JM.
