22nd pick ..... same place we took Quinn and Weeden.

Man, I hope he booms.

I would have rather taken Teddy at 26 and kept the 3rd rounder. Ugh. Don't like this at all.

Weeden and Quinn at pick 22. Now we draft Manziel.

This God damn franchise never learns. It wants feel good stories instead of wins.

Our self respect.

Kidding.

I'll be on board with him tomorrow. I want to reserve tonight to criticize the pick.

1. He is smarter than either of the other 22nd picks. Has a very good arm and if Hoyer can teach him along with the qb coach this could be a very good pick. I have no problem taking Manziel at 22nd , just not at 4 or 9 or in the top 15 picks. I believe he will be the best qb taken in this class. Put that along with the best top rated cb in gilbert and we have a very good start to the draft.

That will make it even better if he becomes a great player.

Love it!! I wanted Teddy first, but Manzeil is very good. IMO, Farmer is doing quite well right now. Two big needs, two of the best at their position.

I love the pick. I was a big doubter of Farmer and Co. coming in, but to get the best CB, the QB we wanted, AND a potential high 1st rounder next year is just a hell of a 1st round. This is by far the best 1st round of a draft we have had since rebirth.

I'm interested to see if we move back up in the 1st round again and take an OL or WR like Lee.

Hopefully.

I'm really not sure what to think. boom or bust is the best phrase. The best thing I can think of is the browns will finally get some of the phantom roughing the QB calls.

I didn't want him at 4, I have to feel ok about taking him at 22. Huge boom or bust potential, here's to hoping he booms. I hope fans and media will allow him to sit behind Hoyer and learn. Go Brown!

Maybe this is the point where it becomes watchable for more then one game in a row.

This is just a great first round. Could be the best two players at their positions with a 2015 first round pick to boot. Just Wow!!!

I agree. But let's try to enjoy the ride while we can. The media will be all into us, as long as he doesn't fall apart.

If the intent is to sit Manziel for a year or so to get him spooled up on how football is played in the NFL, sure it's not a bad pick. But as a day one starter, this pick would suck. I hope they find a way to control his happy feet.

All the JFB lovers. Calling it now. Hoyer will start first game. There is no reason to throw JFB in early
