i'm thinking about purchasing season tickets....

if the psl is listed at $750 is that per seat if i'm getting 2 seats (for a total of $1500)....or is it just $750 total for both?

P.S.L= personal seat license. That = $750 per seat in your case, which, if I do the math correctly, ='s $1,500 for the privilege of buying season tickets.

and actually i just gotta say i think the whole psl thing is b.s.

my 800 bucks for 2 seats for the season should give me the right just fine..

fans across the league should have never stood for this...well if its too much then i guess randy has the right to eat 2 empty seats

Don't buy them from the Browns. Go to ebay. Can usually get them under face value. (Upper Deck) My psl's face value are 375 per seat. I got them for 250 per seat.
Buy now while demand is low. Closer we get to the season the higher the prices will go.

Ok this brought up another question. If you have a psl in a section where they are lower in cost when you get a chance to improve your location how's that work? Do you pay the difference between the prices of the psl in those sections? The full new psl cost? No new psl cost at all?

I believe you get charged the difference between your current PSL category and the new PSL category for each ticket you move. Of course, if you end up moving to a cheaper PSL category (don't know why you'd do that, but...), the Browns get to keep THEIR money.

As far as the whole PSL thing goes, yes, it's a swindle of grand proportions. However, that is the price to be paid these days if you want to be a season ticket holder. I second the other poster's suggestion to look on eBay. That's were I got mine (for about half what the Browns charge) and I was able to get better seats than the Browns are offerring. Buy now while the team sucks and disgusted season ticket holders are dumping their seats. Once the team finally starts winning, it'll be tough to get PSLs as cheaply as you can get them now.

I got mine on ebay, too. PSLs are a rip, no doubt.

You can upgrade each year for free, as long as you stay within your PSL section/zone (based on availability). If you wish to upgrade, you just pay the difference.

thats what i was looking at last night....my only fear right now is with i being so close to the may 1 deadline what happens if they don't sign it over quick enough...

from what i read, they have to sign some form transfering them to me...then i have to pay 25 bucks per seat...then buy the tickets...

gonna have to do some research, but there was some listed on ebay last night....

This may seem like a dumb question, but once you pay for the PSL, do you have to pay for it every year?

No, just renew your season tickets (10 games x price of ticket).

If you choose not to renew, the Browns get the PSL back, and at that time, yes, you would have to rebuy the PSL if you wanted season tix again down the road.

racer I pm'd you... I'm looking to get some money back for my PSL's if you would want seats in section 505. View is really good up there if you like watching the whole play unfold. If you want to see a players face then you'd definetly want to be in 300's or 100's. I only want a couple hundred for them so let me know.

I suggest you put a lot of thought into this move. The $1500 is a lot of money. And you have to factor in you will be paying full price for 2 exhibition games each year. There is also the $4.00 handling fee. I have my bill right in front of me....1,344. 00. It also cost you a lot of money when you go to a game. The product sucks and they aren't exactly fan-friendly. It's like one big commercial. The tickets have become more of a burden than a joy.

I've had season tickets since the early 80s. Well, actually I had a season ticket back then. I never minded paying the money before and even looked forward to the entire process. It just isn't the same. I have to say I am one very unsatisfied customer. Now......I am not saying you shouldn't go ahead and do it, but put a lot of thought into it and factor in how it will affect your family. I'll tell you this.......there are a lot of better values for your dollar out there.

yeah i hear ya....more than likely my plans are gonna go up in smoke anyway....

i mainly wanted to get tickets to take my son to the games...my 3 girls aren't really interested, but they might get a kick out of it....actually my youngest daughter went to the scrimmage with me last year (although i think it might have been for the dollar hotdogs )

the biggest problem i face is being a fireman i'm working for 5 of the games already....i was looking for another guy to go in with me and we would split the ticks at 5 games apiece....the preseason ones suck but hey....so that would leave me with 4 games for an initial outlay of at worst 1550 for the first year and then about 800 for the rest...problem is i don't think my buddy wants to do it, and i could easily use the money for other things...

parking isn't too bad as i park and the north marginal airport lot...i usually eat before the game, and i don't drink....but i hear ya...its alot of cash....

i'm thinkin i would be better off just getting to the 2 games a year that i usually do...but if they start winning then tickets are gonna be harder to get...and i might be sol...

This is how I / we did it hopefully you get understanding seller, since it was past the xfer date the 1st yr we paid the owner /seller for the20 tik'c &1 psl and wrote up a letter stating so. We both signed & keep a copy (2 originals)
then the next Mar/Apr paid them for 2nd psl & we/I sent xfer papers in w/ my $800 dollars for seats. then the xfer goes thru & the tickets come to your house

If you decide to not get the PSL, send me a PM later on and maybe I'll sell you a couple of my games.

Did you check the name of the stadium those seats are in before you bought them?

They're in the upper deck - section 535. I think they're in between the 25-30 yard lines. $50 seats...

I've seen a few good deals popping up on Ebay over the last couple weeks for PSL's. I was outbid by ticket brokers on a few of them at the last second. There were also some decent deals in the Plain Dealer last week when I checked that out...

Man that's a fantastic deal. Mine are in section 532 (between the east side 25 and 35 yard line). But I paid full price for mine 2 years ago
