I love Mayock calling out the NFL saying "nobody likes the draft being in May."
He also just called out the stupidity of handing out draft grades.

Anyone catch when Rich Eisen called the seahawks the seawhores on accident Lmao ...Christian Jones dropped with the drug test I'm sure...he also isnt a master of any one postion...though had the srcond highest tackling success at 96 percent...only backer with better success was first round pikc Mosley from Bama...Skov is strictly a 2 down backer with big injury concerns

I'm not too surprised about Coleman... I had him as a 6th round guy. JMO though.

Look at the Niners with 3 third day Corners. One is 6'2", one is 5'11", and one is 6'.
Seahawks influence is spreading.

Very true...in a pass happy league...versatility speed and coverage skills is huge... Probably why Christian Kirksey went so high and a player like Skov has nose dived

trade .. hopefully for Torrey Smith
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Has to be a future pick, because they had no picks left this year.

Wanted all this time for this?
They now have a whole round of time to prepare their UDFA class. It better be impressive. Can't be worse than last draft's one anyway.

It is a 6th in the 2015 draft.
Now Browns have ...
2 firsts 1 second 1 third 2 fourths 1 fifth 2 sixths 1 seventh
As of right now.

So we punted half of this draft into "next year" again
This was a deep draft and they managed to end up with 6 picks after starting with 10. Hmm...

I didn't see how more than seven or eight rookies were going to make the team anyway.
I guess there is an extra spot open now that Gordon is toast.

10 draft picks weren't making this team, even if we draft all 10 odds are you keep an UDFA or two over some picks.
6 and a couple UDFAs while you keep picking up assets so you can move up in draft if you have a guy you love is a good strategy.
We landed 6 really good players.

but we ended up with 6 potential starter/contributors. 10 Rookies never would have made the team

No, because this 7th round pick was the only pick we "punted".
We got quality with Gilbert in the 1st, and added a 1st and fourth next year. That was a great trade.
I don't have a huge problem with using picks to move up in the draft. As far as the 7th, maybe they feel that they can get comparable value in the UDFA market.
