Both Shaws and C.Jones are intriguing signings. Good start.

Pats got ILB Morris. Texans got both Bullough and Gayle, strong gets. Haven't seen anything on C.Jones and Skov yet

What does everyone see in Skov?

His name was thrown quite a bit, but when I watched tape on him, I saw an NFL long shot.

Mike Golic Jr isn't showing up anymore. Would be cool to see him make the team.

Id like to bring him in and kick the tires, he is 6'5 and has a wide catch radius. might be a diamond in the rough. his size and speed intrigue me

Trust me I love Brandon Coleman moves very well for his frame...and it'll be someone Manziel can utilize in Mike Evans comparison...Coleman has zero red flags and great strong work ethic...however I heard he went undrafted because of his knee is slowly healing

I wonder why Ethan Westbrooks hasn't shown up anywhere? Is he deciding where he'll sign as an UDFA?

Good to see that Dustin Vaughan, Torrence Allen and Nathan Slaughter all found landing spots.

Looks like we're getting the creamof the crop for UDFA skill position players... would have liked to see Stephen Morris and Allen Hurns, but it's tough to pull out of state people in. Think they're doing a really good job so far.

http://www.cornerblitz.com/2014/Rankings/Post-Combine/WRp.aspx

17. Willie Snead, Ball State 5'11", 193# Round: 6
Willie Snead is a highly-productive receiver from the MAC who finished in the top 5 in the FBS in receiving yards this year. He doesn't have great size or speed but is reliable and crafty and makes contested catches. Fights for extra yards after contact. Could develop into a move-the-chains possession type. (vs. Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, and Miami, OH)

http://www.cornerblitz.com/2014/Rankings/Post-Combine/WRs.aspx

12. Chandler Jones, San Jose State 5'9", 180# Round: 5
Pure slot receiver. Sets up his breaks well and gains separation. Will come back to the QB on the scramble to present a target. Has better moves before the catch than after. Hustles on the field to block for his fellow receivers. Shows good focus on tips, on contested balls, and on wide open passes alike. Gets off the line quickly and uses an outside release on almost every route. Has ball security issues. (vs. Fresno State, San Diego State, Minnesota, Colorado State)

http://www.cornerblitz.com/2014/Rankings/Post-Combine/RB.aspx

9. Isaiah Crowell, Alabama State 5'11", 215# Round: 4
The former SEC Freshman of the Year has breakaway speed and sets up his blocks very well. He can shake off tacklers much bigger than him and makes maddening cuts. Uses his off-arm extremely well. Some question marks as to why he didn't dominate lesser competition after transferring to South Alabama, but he has terrific talent. (vs. South Carolina {2011}, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Jackson St.)

http://www.cornerblitz.com/2014/Rankings/Post-Combine/QBm.aspx

7. Connor Shaw, South Carolina 6'0", 209# Round: 4
Very good mobility. Does a good job of keeping the ball low. Unconventional but effective playing style. Shows good accuracy on hot slants. Has a knack for making big plays and shows good situational awareness. Plays with great toughness and doesn't make big mistakes, highlighted by his incredible 25:1 TD to interception ratio in 2013. Shows above average ball placement on deep routes, but throws his share of off-target deep balls. Public perception of his abilities was hurt by a poor showing at the Shrine Game. (vs. Georgia, Clemson, Wisconsin)

I like what we've got for UDFA's, but I'm jealous of Jacksonville's haul.

Quote:

Jacksonville Jaguars
Stephen Morris QB Miami
Allen Hurns WR Miami
Marcel Jensen TE Fresno State
Craig Loston S LSU
Christian Jones LB Florida State
Josh Wells OT James Madison
Reggie Jordan TE Missouri Western

How hilarious would it be if Morris won the backup job and Bortles was third string?

Kenny Shaw,

+1

Experts say he wasn't drafted because he a little too lanky at 6'0" and 170 lbs., but there is no reason he can't hit the weight room and gain some muscle while maintaining his quickness.

He definitely isn't afraid to go over the middle and appears to have a really good ability to make the catch while keeping his feet in bounds. Supposedly a great locker room guy who became a fan favorite at FSU for his fearlessness to go over the middle and to make catches in traffic and also due to his very charismatic and likeable personality.

Love Crowell. Would have drafted him in round 6 or 7. Better prospect than any RB on our roster.

Conner Shaw is unconventional, but living in Columbia, SC, I can tell you that the guy makes plays. Hopefully, this will mean that the cancer Vince Young will be sent packing NOW!

Chandler Jones has first round talent but undrafted FA production. Good signing. Nothing to lose for a guy who has tremendous hands at the LOS.

All I know is that at least all of these UDFA WR's that we've signed are going to have the opportunity of a lifetime. The one's that are mature enough to realize that and "Play Like a Brown" will make this team and may get to play from day 1.

I think in terms of QB, RB, WR we did about as good as possible in UDFA.

I think 2 of Snead,Jones, and Shaw (WR) will make the team.

Crowell has a decent shot but with investment in Tate and West it will be difficult.

We got the Enigma. NLR must be happy, lol. He was my second choice as UDFA QB so I like that, too.

Gotta say, the pick of Manziel is already paying dividends... no way two of the top 10 receivers in the FBS would have signed with us as UDFA without him.

Did we pick up WR Jones from Alabama??

That kid is a player!! Returns kicks for touchdowns and can catch like a madman.
He's got some great moves. He won't dope like our EX WR Josh "Toker" Gordon.

Roll Tide!

UMMMMMM NEVERMIND...What's a Chandler Jones?

We got #3 and #10 as UDFAs. The guy I wanted us to draft in the 7th was #8. Snead and Jones tied (with others) for 3rd in the FBS in receiving touchdowns.

What does everyone see in this guy? I taught at Alabama State before moving to Miami and he was a major head case.

Elaborate, please....

Going from the craptastic backfield we had last year to Tate, West, and Crowell is a major upgrade. Obviously.

Most Definitely. I've read a lot of articles today from various newspapers of how good West can be. Tate has already shown flashes of eliteness and is being handed the keys to the car.

West can be one heck of a change of pace back, but in the non-traditional sense. Instead of changing the pace from fast to faster, he would be changing to pace from punishment to torture.

I love it.
