Give me Mariota, Hundley, Winston, or Grogan along with Amari Cooper and I'll be content.
I assume we'll have a pick between 5-10 (our own) along with a pick between 10-15 (Buffalo's)
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Just curious, are those your rankings? I don't remember seeing Matias as the top guy on other lists before. Thanks!

Unfortunately, if Manziel doesn't play well, we will be looking at two top 10 picks, and the stories about selecting a QB will be non-stop.
The only way to avoid it will be to make the playoffs, IMO.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Well, if we are drafting that high again then we can assume that neither Hoyer nor Manziel performed swimmingly; thus, if our FO deems the available QB's as franchise types, we'd most likely draft one.

We may end up with a legit shot at landing Jameis Winston. Is it me, or does it seem like Mannion has been in college for like a decade?

we should have at least 1 first round pick in the top 10 next year.. We're going to be able to find a receiver or QB if we need to..

When we got ATL and INDs first, I was understanding of them being in the 20s...
But man, Buffalo?
2014 #9 2013 #8 (Traded back to 16) 2012 #10 2011 #3 2010 #9 2009 #11 2008 #11 2007 #12 2006 #8 2005 No Pick (Traded for 2004 #22) 2004 #12 2003 #14 (Traded for Dew Bledsoe) 2002 #4 2001 #14 (Traded back to 21) 2000 #26 1999 #23
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Miami and the Jets are weak, I expect a playoff push by the Bills. I imagine our first rounders will both be 15-25. Assuming there are no major injuries and the predicted re-signings we should need ILB, S and WR. Looking where Mosley, Ha Ha and Watkins(imho the top WR, S and ILB) were drafted we could probably stay put and get the best S and ILB or trade up and get the top WR. The optimist in me says that could be the opening of a championship window that lasts till the Joe's start to deteriorate. The Browns fan in me says Hoyer and Manziel get hurt, Haden will be abducted by aliens and Thomas decides seal hunting in Alaska is his true calling.

The Jets will be better than last year, and Ryan, as much as I dislike him, is one damn good coach. He gets the most out of his players. People had the Jets with the worst record in the league, and Ryan fired last year, and instead he might have pulled off his best coaching job ever, and got them to 8-8. That was with Geno Smith at QB.. Wow. He'll do better with Vick under Center. They also added Chris Johnson, who I think will do well in Mourniweg's offense, especially as he'll open up opportunities to pass the ball. CJ and Chris Ivory make one heck of a nice combination.
Miami was also an 8-8 team.. Their opportunity is at QB. If Tannehill progresses, then they'll progress. If he doesn't, then they'll remain in that middle ground. Miami had a very good scoring defense. If they can run the ball this year, and they should be able to with Moreno, then they will be much improved.
Buffalo did add a WR and a RB (through trade), but they could already run the ball. I don't like their free agent moves all that well. They did sign Spikes to a one year deal, and he should help, but they also lost Byrd, who is a huge loss.
I wouldn't move the Bills up just yet. I also wonder why they went after Bryce Browns when they already have Spiller and Jackson. I think that they could have made a better move there. They are going to have Indy type issues in next year's draft, having given up a 1st and a 4th in 2015 to the Browns, and also a conditional 4th in 2015 to the Eagles as well. They are going to be short on opportunities to improve next year as well. I definitely like their pick of Preston Brown as a potential star in the middle.
I just really worry when a team not that close to the top makes a big, expensive move to try and get to the top. That is usually a crash and burn.

I just looked at their schedule, and unless Tom Brady gets food poisoning twice this year, I can't see them winning more than 8 games. And that's assuming they beat teams like Houston, Oakland, Minnesota, and us... Not even looking at he other divisional games..

Yup! I think Matias will have a breakout year. It might be a little too high right now, but I love his potential.

I'm totally on board with that... I've been after him since he was a freshman. He's the fastest out of his stance I've ever seen.

Maybe the fact that he is so fast is why you haven't been able to catch him since he was a freshman?

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
