Nah. I agree that it looks kind of tacky and gimmicky.
The only real return I've gotten on buying Browns gear since the 80's has been my Joe Thomas jersey. Now that the dust has settled, I may invest in a Haden jersey but that will about do it for me.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I've made a promise as of two years ago that I no longer buy merchandise until we start winning. Take it as you will, I love this team to death... but I'm going stick to my promise. If JF starts winning, i'll buy a shirt! lol, but not until then...

I will pass even thought 90 percent of the clothes I own are Cleveland Browns Items. My last purchase was a team issued signed Otto Graham Jersey which I bought 3 months ago.

The thing about that Johnny shirt Punch showed, regardless of the stupid expression on his face, is that depending upon the glorious success/utter failure of Johnny Football that shirt could sell for $5000 on eBay someday.

So if Manziel flops (not saying he will) what will come of your collection? Wear them any way? Money wasted? Donate to Goodwill? Send them to a third world nation where they believe the Buffalo Bills were four time world champions?

I bought a Haden jersey after his rookie season. That's worked out very well so far.
I also have bought a Kamerion Wimbley Jersey (after rookie year) that had eh results. I think he played another two years for us. And then I bought a Nike Trent Richardson jersey, that really didn't work well at all..........
At least I was smart enough to get Haden. Guy is money. And I've got a Cribbs t-shirt. Still wear it all the time. That guy was a warrior for the team

I love what I call 'fail' T-shirts, and would definitely wear those shirts they wear overseas that you talked about. It cracks me up, but I don't think most people would even notice. (If you have a link for any, let me know.)
