Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart has joined the long line of those photographed by speed photo enforcement cameras. Leinart is scheduled to appear in Scottsdale City Court on April 25 and again on April 30 for arraignments on three speeding violations on the Loop 101 while driving his SUV, according to information from the court, as reported by the EAST VALLEY TRIBUNE.

Leinart, 23, of Chandler, was clocked speeding 77 mph at 6:44 p.m. on March 24, and 77 mph again at 2:06 a.m. on March 25, according to information from the court. He also was clocked speeding 77 mph at 10:17 p.m. on March 28, according to information from the court.

If found guilty of the speeding violations on the 65 mph limit highway, Leinart will have to pay $162 for each ticket.

Overall, Leinart has been clocked speeding four times in less than a year.

If they draft Joe Thomas, I hope he asks for #77 on his jersey

He wasn't going like 110 or anything. He shouldn't have too much of a problem paying those tickets. He's actually my favorite type of driver. He drives the exact same speed all the time and doesn't go up and down. You'd think though he'd learn to slow down when he gets to the camera spot.

Heck, I don't know.

I just thought it was funny he got 3 tickets in 4 days - all at 77 mph, and think it'd be funny if Joe Thomas was their first round pick and took #77.

Cruise control is awesome! LOL!

What's the saying...fine at nine, ticket at ten. He was at 12. tsk, tsk. I keep my speed within 7 (at max). I'm on the road way too damn much to want to get pulled over.

I don't get the Joe Thomas #77 thing. Is it because Leinart got 3 (our pick in draft) speeding tickets. And Thomas wears 77 because of 77 m.p.h.? How is Leinart connected to the Browns? Not trying to be mean here, but if this is correct and is meant to be funny..........

It's not.

Sorry, maybe I just have a messed up sense of humor. My "logic" was that Leinart had 3 tickets at 77 mph, and if they drafted Joe Thomas he should request that number on his jersey to mess with his QB.

I see, if Arizona drafted him. I was thinking that if the Browns drafted him. I overlooked that point. Then, it would be kinda funny. I would talk smack to him if I was Joe Thomas. My fault.

I had to go to Akron yesterday. I was driving between 70 and 80 most of the way, and I felt like a little old lady as people blew by me all the way up and back

Obviously he thinks he's more special than everybody else and can go as fast as he wants...so why not make his ticket a little more special for a special person (Raise the ticket cost)

So treat him differently than everyone else because he is a sport figure?

The article failed to mention it was in a 25 mph zone.

Scottsdale has those damn cameras all over. I go out there for a sales meeting a couple times a year - the damn rental car we had got photographed going through an intersection. Luckily, it wasn't under my name.

Leinhart is from LA ... where 77 is considered slow. Most people do 80 there. Still this is news??? Has the press run out of Virginia Tech angles so soon?

Now that I live in NASCAR country, I've found that on an interstate, if you fall below 75, you will soon see somebody in your mirror 8" off your rear bumper drafting down the interstate...

We should have all seen this coming... the drugs, guns, and spousal abuse has finally escalated to minor speeding violations... when will it end?

Roger Goodell has already booked a meeting with Matt to discuss his actions off the field and to look into ways to improve them. I can see a slap on the wrist punishment of 4 games.

Well at least he is consistent. I wonder how many days it took them to inform him of the first ticket.

So far the speed record for Loop 101 is 147 mph set by a guy in a Sonata. But word from Hyundai is that the car has a top speed of only 137, so go figure.

HEy I move over, but I speed up as soon as you pass, so your stuck in the passing lane going 85.
