How is Ray Allen a tool? All of his teammates and coaches love him. All of Blatche's teammates and coaches want to kill him. He got paid by Washington and basically stopped trying.

I think it's that we gave them up for nothing at all. If it doesn't work with us getting Lebron, it looks bad.

Then be prepared to look bad... lebron aint coming here, he using us as a bargaining chip and nothing more.

You just never know.

What barganing chip?

We'd be paying him the max.. He's told Miami he will only accept the Max..

If he signs for the Max, and they sign Bosh, and Wade.. Then that team can't get anyone else..

How is that a bargain?

That was the thought that just jumped into my head too.

He is going to get a max deal ... whether in Cleveland, Miami, or Russia. Miami has almost nothing left to deal with as far as adding pieces to the team that Lebron reportedly wasn't happy with last year.

I really think that the ball is n the Cavaliers court if it comes down to Miami vs Cleveland.

to hold their feet to the fire and get as much as he can based off of our "max" offer.

He wont get that but i'll bet it bumped it up some.. the one to stand to get scewed is Bosh. If he passes up a "BIG" payday just to be lebron's lacky for another fews years he may never see that type of money again.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but are you saying LeBron won't get a max deal?

For whatever it's worth (and it's probably nothing), I won't believe he is coming back until a contract is signed and announced. Guess I'm going to have to go down swinging.

Bull knows little to nothing about basketball. He's a baseball guy.

I'm with him, though to an extent.

I'd say 60-40 Miami right now. If he's leaving, have fun sitting down with Riley, Wade, Spo and Arison today.

He already had dinner with Wade this week.

Spo can suck and, and be happy he was carried to two rings..

I'd be surprised if Arison showed up, the cheapskate is the reason LeBron was upset with the way they used the cap..

Riley is the only one really, I feel like he has some crazy jedi/sith mind tricks up his sleeve.. But that "Don't take the first door when it gets tough" comment may come back to bite him..

In his chat, Sam Amico said that Anthony Bennett looks "ripped" this year. That could be great news considering how weak and flabby he looked last year.

There's a pic going around from a workout in Vegas and he looks great. Really happy that he seems to be taking his job seriously now.

I honestly wouldn't sign him then, I don't think Love is going to extend with that looming over, and then you don't even have his Bird rights after 2 years...

# years with an option for the 4th, Max Contract, is what I offer him.. If he doesn't want that, I move on... (No seriously..)

If I'm wrong about this, I'll take solace in (correctly) criticizing the Cavs moves this past season and beyond, nailing the Finals matchup before the playoffs started, and calling Wiggins #1.

Gonna pat myself on the back one more time here

Man, I really hope I'm wrong about this Lebron thing. Watching a Cavs championship would be sweet.

Who knows?

I am just saying that I am impressed that he obviously put in the work to build up his body to an NBA level. That says a lot for his commitment and drive.

I'm kinda thinking now lebron goes into the riley meeting says...heres my 2 year plan and returns to heat..then signs his final contract in 2016. Hope I'm wrong. But all the silence from the lebron camp is disturbing.

I just don't see what at all plan they could have...

They need depth, big men, and youth..

If all 3 sign, they can't get any of that...

It's almost the exact same problem Cleveland got into in 08-2010... Almost..

Do you really want to do this again in 2 years?

If that's what he wants, and he wants it because he needs to worry about his options in 2 years, then he hasn't changed.

I go throw a lot of money at Parsons, find some big guys, and play out the year...

We still have other assets to build this team, it won't be as fast...

Yes. You do it again. If LeBron wants to come and you turn him down, do you know how dumb you would look?

I can't believe there is even a single person who actually believes what you are saying.

He is hands down the best player on the planet, if only wanted a 10 day contract you would have to do it.

Yeah, I want a commitment.

We went through this when he only took the 3 year extension before, and no one wanted to come and be left holding an empty bag if he left.

Kevin Love isn't going to sign long term is Lebron signs a short term deal. No one who is coming primarily to play with him will.

Lebron and his agent reportedly are meeting with the Heat, Riley, Arison, and Wade at 6PM Cleveland time. I think that we'll know, one way or the other, tonight.

So you guys are basically putting emotion before logic. Plenty of guys will want to play in Cleveland if LeBron is there. I would also guess that he would re-sign in two years, he just needs to have the ability to be a free agent in the summer of 2016.

The Cavs have no power. LeBron has all the power. They do what he says.
