If Love is not possible I would look into trading Bennett and Waiters for Hibbert as well.

Does Brian Windhorst have a job at ESPN anymore now that the daily coverage of the Heat will cease to exist?
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

I am really curious to see how Bennett looks tonight. Hopefully we get to take a look at him a bit. We do need to add a few more pieces just to fill out the roster. Reports are that we could wind up with Ray Allen and Mike Miller. The would be nice complimentary pieces. We have a trade exemption from trading away Gee, and could offer that to Miller. I think that's like $3 million. Bear in mind that he's still getting paid, ironically enough, by the Heat. We could probably give Allen the veteran's minimum, assuming that he doesn't retire. The Cavaliers have a ton of flexibility right now. Might even be 2 or 3 tons.

Evidently the Cavaliers have assured Wiggins that he will not be traded. http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2014/07/whats_next_for_the_cavs_after.html#incart_big-photo4:47 p.m.: Chris Broussard says the Cavs don't want to include Andrew Wiggins in any deal for Kevin Love. According to Broussard, Minnesota is pushing hard for the top pick in last month's draft, but Cleveland has assured Wiggins he won't be moved. The Cavs will try to make the deal without Wiggins, which could mean bringing in a third team, according to the report.

If they won't trade Wiggins then this is the next best thing they can do. The T'Wolves want to compete next year, the Cavs need to use their picks to acquire a player they like that can help them this year. Maybe they can get Young from the Sixers? I just solved everyone's probelms with the Trade Machine.

Bosh headed back to Miami for the max. Woj, Twitter Money move, which is fine. The Rockets got left in the dust.

So the real question becomes, if we end up with KLove, will Uncle Drew, Wes, and Wise lebron make a video?

I like that move by Miami. Bosh and Wade, and another piece still wins 50 games or so. East is wide open..

Rockets even traded away Lin to prep for it already. They better really start pushing hard to convince Melo to change his mind.

I like that move because it keeps a potential superteam out of Houston. That would be a matchup nightmare for the cavs in the finals.

That is shocking. Bosh would be a great fit with the Rockets.

Why would the Celtics give up Green, Sullinger, and Rondo for McLemore?
Is this terrible?
Plus earliest 1st Round pick from Cavs next year (top-3 protected) to Minnesota:

*edit* nevermind, I just realized Minnesota is getting basically nothing there other than the earliest of 3 first-round picks. Hopefully Bennett lights it up tonight.

I was mostly joking, but in that scenario the Celtics would have to get multiple first round picks.
If the Celtics can't give Love they will look to the future and acquire as many assets as possible.
I don't see how Perry Jones helps the T'Wolves more than Waiters.

I was thinking because they already have Martin and are getting a first, but yeah I see your point in that why wouldn't the Cavs just offer Waiters, Bennett, the new guy and the first to Minnesota.

I still don't see how they add Love without dealing Andy ... and Lebron really likes Andy a lot.
Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine 1m Source close to situation says Kevin Love indeed "intrigued" by idea of being dealt to Cavs and would commit long there if traded there
Say goodbye to Wiggens and maybe Dion.
I don't think we trade Wiggins.

I don't think so either. I think they put together their best offer that doesn't include him, and leave it there.
Lebron's letter was very clear that this isn't some mad dash for this season. He doesn't want to take any shortcuts. He wants to build it. I think he gave them the room and assurance to do so. Something we never got the first time around. I think not mentioning Wiggins was more just him never playing a minute in the league. I don't think it was any clue to the future. Which reverses everything I said last night. That letter changes everything.
Who knows. Maybe they chase Love next summer.

According to Broussard - who was dead wrong this morning, so FWIW - the Cavs have assured Wiggins he will not be traded.

The piece I think we need is a big powerful defensive force in the middle who can hit an open ten footer so that he can pull the defending center out and open up the middle for LeBron and Kyrie to drive.
Am I perfect? No Am I trying to be a better person? Also no

Good for Bosh...that is a lot of money. Playoff contender 3-6 seed. Also keeps the Rockets from becoming the favorites!

I almost forgot about Josh Teplitz. I think that dude was more confident than Sheridan. He was betting guys $500 a shot guaranteeing it was a done deal. And was serious!

Don't forget Emmett Golden from WKNR 850 who said he had a source with the Cavs that at least one player got a text from Lebron to "get ready and be prepared"

Yup, good deal for him to take the extra $20m and stay in Miami. And it's going to be fun to see CB+DW coming to Cleveland to play Lebron.
If Melo stays in NY, wouldn't that mean the NBA is back to it's normal dilution of NBA superstars?
As for the Wiggins, I'd probably trade him for KL+extension but maybe Lebron wants him around. Think about it, Wiggins can just play D and wreck the rim on breaks...there are other guys here to take the pressure off him. Sure, KL would be nice, but I'm okay either way. Hopefully the Cavs brass can figure a way to get Love without losing Wiggins. Talk about a lineup...
AV KL Lebron Wiggins Kyrie
Crazy.

Crazy.
I don't know if it happens, but this is a message board, so we can dream.
If that happens, and Andy can stay healthy, I guarantee he leads the league in offesive rebounds, and the Cavs will destroy the rest of the league in fastbreak bball. That is a sick lineup, and with Love's ability to throw outlet passes, and the speed of Wiggy, Irving, and Lebron? That's frightening. It's too good to be true, LOL.

On another note. I'm watching the Cavs summer league game to check out Wiggins (who looks ok) But man it is the Anthony Bennett show! Guy is down probably 20 pounds and is flying all over the floor! BIG two hand flying slam and running Jabari Parker ragged.

Dude looks JACKED!
His shot is still ugly looking, but hopefully they can work with him. I'm really happy for him that the light seems to have went on. It's all about putting in work.
