These are movies I'll DVR everytime I see that they're on:

1. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
2. Deliverance
3. Platoon
4. The Goodfellas
5. Pulp Fiction
6. Up In Smoke
7. Stripes
8. Gladiator
9. Saving Private Ryan
10. Jeremiah Johnson

I just watched "Noah" last night and thought it was a great movie to watch with the family on the big screen. I wasn't expecting a lot and with a few brewskies I was pleasantly surprised with the twists they threw in to the story.

1.Clockwork Orange
Inception
Serenity
Requiem of a Dream
The Deer Hunter
Snatch
Million Dollar Baby
Passion of Christ
Kill Bill 1&2
Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem

Back in high school 96-2000 I remember listing to classical music daily and I absolutely loved Beethoven. I always loved Symphony #9 especially the 2nd movement. When I first watched clock work orange and then heard my favourite song and movement I was hooked. The music made Alex a good guy that showed compassion, love and intelligence even though deep down he was a a hateful, crazy, deranged evil soul. Deep.

Interstella 5555: Is amazing, its a full length Japanese Anime movie that is based on Daft Punks Discovery Album. So you are watching a movie that is in perfect sync with the music and its really cool. The Discovery album I think was their most successful.

order is impossible and I am going to miss a bunch and only picking the best from the series of movies even if more than 1 could be included:

Godfather 2
Toy Story
Matrix
Hulk
Jurassic Park
The Dark Knight
LotR - 2 Towers
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Good Will Hunting
Patch Adams

Somehow, that leaves me w/o Despicable Me, Kickass, Pitch Black, any of the Bourne movies, any of the X-Men movies, Trading Places, Seven and so many more on the list. I think I'd have to list 100 just to get the tip of the iceberg on my movie list.

It finally all started to make sense to me now. See most people see things in a different way than I do, so that's why whenever I say what's really on my mind, people consider it weird in the least.

" If you're happy and you know it, dah dah dah! If you're happy and you know it dah dah dah, if you're happy and you know it don't let anyone show it, if you're happy and you know it, dah dah dah, clap clap. "

If you're happy and you know it settle down!, If you're happy and you know it wear a frown, if your happy and you know it don't let anybody show it, if you're happy and you know it settle down!" clap clap!

If you're happy and you know it, then you better not tell it, cause they'll only get jealous, if you're happy and you know it quiet down!

I saw a movie on Turner Classic Movies yesterday and it was pretty good.
Why would I think that an ( ) like me would like " chic flicks" but some, ehh maybe!
I'm not going to sit there and force myself to like hot rod dragsters and Bar B Que's just because society tells me I have to!

If I want to watch " Legally Blonde" or " Bring it on all or nothing" then so be it. (Just as long as nobody's around to ridicule me while I'm doing it.)

The best movie maybe, ehh , a pretty decent one if you had never seen it is call " Unforgiven" from 1992. It won 3 oscars, ( I feel like not capitalizing the word oscar, Mr Autocorrect)

Anyway the thing about that one is it could have been like you were actually experiencing it by being there, it was all in the moment standoffish personal interactions, no chases and stuff like that.

A movie called " IN Broad daylight", a true story about a town, or a man, about a Man that terrorozies a town so much, that the whole town gets battered women's syndrome, it's just freaky, it's a good watch.

See if you appreciate good writing then seeing a movie like " Noises Off" , well, to say anything about it, it had that Brittish guy who's not John Cleese, It had Carol Burnett in it, I think, and the guy who played Jack Tripper on three's company. Listen, ... the dialogue, in that movie, oh my gosh, there's nothing quite so fine as a movie that you have to watch 4 or so times to really understand all the nuances of what's being said, and what it means by who and how and when it's being said.

Speaking of movies you have to see 4 + times to understand what's going on...!!!! Jeesh !!!! Who doesn't like a surprise thriller like " Georgia Rule" a nice soda pop movie about a dumb teen who goes to live with her grandmother in some po-dunkt place to learn lessons on (what, "ettiqute", HA!) ... and then, I wanted to punch the writer of that movie for doing that to me.! I Loathe and Like that movie at the same time.
Done seing that movie and say "What the, What!"

There was a time when I would have said that " Every which way but loose" was my favorite movie. Because I liked seeing the Orangataung knock over the biker gang, and hear the old lady curse him for not bringing back her Oreo's, but then I had it confused with it's sister movie "Any which way you can"

You see, even a great comedy scene, from anywhere, it's like a freaking work of art! If it's great writing that makes you think about all the things that are being said and what they mean, then it's like lyrics to a song.

And a good movie has to have a flow to it. Take the movie "Vegas Vacation" That's just, that just has a bad flow to it. It stutters from scene to scene, (even line to line) like a horse following a wheelchair. There's no sense, the production might have been great but whoever directed that thing may have had an off day, to say the least.
There's parts of that movie where I wonder it I'm even watching the same movie as it's going. Like when the daughter character says the line, " you won't believe the effect he has on women"
Who is she talking to, why is she saying it, and why is it out of timing.

Or when the son wins all the cars, there's no point to that.
Or when the cousin and whomever are on top of the billboard, what am I watching? It jumps from scene to scene like Afghanistan, Illinois, doctor's office. HUH! Yeah! exactly!

Edit! Good Grief! "A Princess Bride" , I remembered the name of that once by saying, it's called " the prince of tides"

Home Alone is the most popular movie of all time. According to this poll. Godfather 2, Casablanca, Gone with the wind, and "Home Alone"
Something ain't right with the world.
I tell ya, the Mom in that movie, Catherine O'Hara, her husband was a lucky man!

I'm not sure I have 10, and they change all the time, but movies I enjoy every time I watch are as follows, in no particular order:

Saving Grace - British widow grows pot to pay dead husband's debt
LOTR - I've almost gotten to where I've seen them too much
MARVEL movies - I like them all, but The Hulk was the worse one
Kill Bill - Blood, violence, good looking women fighting
Saving Ned Devine - Old Irish buddies scam the lottery after the winner dies
Wild Target - A British con woman, the assassin after her, and his apprentice. Fun movie.
Book of Eli - Just a good story
13th Warrior - The Vikings looked like fun, rational people.
An American Werewolf in London - Jack kept coming back.

There are more I can't think of right now.

Little Big Man

Fatal Attraction [only because it flipped me out]

North by Northwest

Cool Hand Luke

You guys mentioned a bunch of my other favorites and I am sure I am forgetting many great movies. Man, it is such a broad topic. Hard to pin it down.

LMAO....................The Gods Must Be Crazy!

That was a GREAT movie. Hilarious.

See, that was one of those movies that I knew I was forgetting.

Did anyone see Quest for Fire? Different kind of movie, but The Gods Must Be Crazy made me think of that movie. That was a cool movie, too. There was a scene in there where this cave woman was squatting. These cave men were sniffing the air, couldn't quite figure out what the aroma was. LOL.............reminds me of watching middle school boys in the spring.

There is a parody song by Steve Goodie to the tune of "The Waiting" by Tom Petty called "Ned Beatty." Pretty funny, kind of agrees with what you're saying.
